I don't know. His game tonight reminded me of how my 65 OVR rated myplayers used to play when just starting out in 2K. Not very appealing to the eye but somehow ends up with 5/5/5/5. |

I hate his offense, but I wouldnt go that far. He did compete and yeah he is outmatched, he is a rookie, and that was Kyrie Irving. He has to fix the way he shoots the basketball. Its amazing it has gotten him this far, I mean the talent is there.
The Lakers are obviously not the better team, just goes to show how important a PG or Cousins would be for this team.

This wasn't a success, but we did show perseverance after the 1st quarter. We faded at the end, but we were down by 20+ points and pulled within 2 points.
There are some positives to pull from this game. We're close. We just need to take better care of the ball, box out, and finish. I think we get too "out of control" in an effort to push the tempo.
We all hate losing to Boston, but, they are a better team at this point.
We'll get there LGers! I have faith in the process. |

Dang, 11 games into the season and I'm so over Lonzo. Would anybody trade for him? Maybe a lower 1st? He's completely garbage. I was so excited about him but Jesus he's bad. We could have had Porzingus, Tatum, and Brown.. Imagine that! |

Honest question tho, If we had Dlo, we would have made some more shots in those last 3 min to be sure, but are we even in the game with same defensive intensity that kept us in a game which was 8 on 5?
Cause it sure wasn't our offense that kept us in it. _________________ Creatures crawl in search of blood, To terrorize y'alls neighborhood. |

he had 3 of the 21 TO's |
Hence why I said "and".
I like Clarkson, but his turnovers tonight came at crucial times and I don't understand how someone so quick and athletic can be so ineffective on defense. The TOs were spread out pretty evenly, but Clarkson was a big part of the second quarter implosion and then made a dumb play to seal the deal. He really is talented, if only he could increase his BBIQ. |
What i dont i understand is why Luke doesnt punish him for his ballhogging and bad decisions, while benches Randle. |

Why would you want Brown over Ingram? |

I thought tonight was one of his better efforts. Made some nice plays and read defense well, attacked more often. Shot is still a mess but we know that’s not an easy or quick fix. |

One fourth quarter sequence had 3 consecutive turnovers sandwiched between 2 missed layups...combine that with bostons offensive boards and folks missing layups through out the 4th..,
They acted inexperienced in the 4th, which they are, and it showed
And yep Lonzo needs to make those layups |

He is a young Kidd, including the lack of offense and good defense. |

Good game boston, you're a lock to win the title for sure, I'm sure you'll sweep the cavs and the warriors. Enjoy your hard fought victory at some wild club tonight, because I just know that boston nightlife is WHERE IT'S AT!!! I on the other hand will have to wallow in this sad loss, go out to a boring ol bar full of gals wayyy uglier than boston chicks, in terrible terrible 64 degree weather tonight.

With great defense, he played Smart and Kyrie very tough.
He missed the point blank layup which hurt and obviously he has no confidence at all in his outside shot right now so he is shooting worse than he should be.
Other than his shooting, I love his game and I will take 5-6 as we could have easily won several of the games we lost. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

just do not see it that way....he came in the score was 11-21...checked out it was 36-50. He was -4 in the first half, which was I think the best on the team....or close to it. He had a better game than 4 starters (Kuzma, Ball, Lopez and KCP). |

The Lakers are back. LG is now complaining about the refs rather than the lack of skill. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

-Lopez missed 4 wide open 3s
-KCP airballed a wide open 3
-Hart missed a wide open 3
-Kuz missed an easy layup, an easy baby hook off a missed free throw, and made a mess of a 4 on 2 fastbreak
-Brewer missed a wide open 3 and an easy layup
If half of this shots go in, we win this game, even while getting ridiculously out rebounded on the offensive glass. |

I have absolutely no problem with Lonzo right now. His defensive intensity is off the hook, he is trying to make the right plays and he just flat out can't shoot. The fact that he is missing layups and wide open 3's to me is great, because he can get open shots and I'm sure in practice he makes those. For him it's a combination of nerves, lack of conditioning and the speed of the game. He will improve his shooting, every other part of his game right now is above average for any NBA PG.
The game tonight was lost by luke in that first rotation when he brought in bogut...what 2 fouls, a turnover or 2 and just standing there on defense. If that first rotation would have been randle, maybe we win that game. This loss totally is on Luke, I've never blamed him before....but he blew this. |

I thought this was a good game... I can't believe the complaining or the expectation to beat Boston on the road with 2 rookies + Ingram... Boston is just a flat out better team at the moment.
On the bright side, Lonzo is actually a good/great defender and just needs to shake that mental offensive issue (he can get 15-20 shots off easy so its not like he can't create offense) ... Kuzma was off tonight, Lopez had a poor game, KCP was below average and we still hung in there. This will be a much different game when we meet next time. |
