Missing free throws is pissing me off. Nobody should be under 70%.
Lopez 82.6%
Kuz 81.3%
Pope 75%
Clarkson 74.4%
Nance 71.4%
Randle 68.5%
Ingram 64.6%
Brewer 55.6%
Lonzo 50%

We're 26th in the league in FT%, and 30th in the league in 3pt%. Me thinks the two are related, and indicative of a larger problem with shooting in general. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Yes he did. It was in 60's, just like Lonzo's
Randle however was pretty good FT shooter for his position, but
it regressed to team's mean |

I'd guess Randle took more a game in college, shooting more in one game can help build a rhythm and take the percentage up a bit. |

Per a Twitter convo I had with GT/LakerFilmRoom we ain’t got one;
I don't think they really have one. I think each assistant coach is assigned a few players to work with, and he works on that w/his guys. He was a decent shooter in college.

This has to be addressed. Publicly addressed. Missed free throws are the primary reason for 3-5 losses.
How many game will we lose because of this stupid reason? |

I mentioned this in the game day thread - We need to get Chip Engelland. Magic needs to offer him part of the Dodgers or the Lakers or get Hollywood to give him his own series. Do whatever the hell is takes to pry him away from the Spurs. We NEED that guy. BADLY. |

This guy, Miles Simon? http://www.nba.com/lakers/releases/170627-miles-simon-hired/
No idea. He is another Arizona Connect. No idea what his - or any other of the assistant coaches - specific duties are. _________________ #IStillBelieveTaurean |

not sure if the numbers support this, but if has felt like for years the league as a whole has regressed in FT%.....sure felt like growing up in the 80's and early 90's guys simply made their free throws. |

15 damn free throws missed. Game decided by 8.
Not just that, but we missed these free throws at the most critical moments of the game. |

With the frequency ingram isos and drives to the basket, he needs to make sure his average is in the high 70s, at the worst. |
