I don't know about the last 3 games he had 10 points and didn't get the ball enough that game. I think he was 3/8, but he was playimg fairly well then didn't see the ball in 4th really of that game. Think it was the boston game |

It’s just too difficult to be a 20ppg level scorer when you have no confidence in your jumper. He’s not a physically imposing player either to compensate for that (Giannis). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

He looked confident on his first jumper, it was a good look and ended up going in and out. After that, his form just went to (bleep). All he can do is keep shooting, I guess? He's definitely not gonna improve it by passing shots up, so in that sense, at least he's taking them. But he still needs to pick up in other areas of his game when they're not falling. To his credit, the defense picked up late in the game after some dumb fouls early on. |

Need to get him going early with some easy looks. Last few games it's taken until 5 or 6 minutes into the game before he gets a shot attempt and it's usually off of an ISO. Gotta get him an easy bucket early |

Less than 10 FGA in the last 3 games, too. Would much rather have Luke try to run plays for him to get him going than see KCP take some of his 100 MPH, off balance mid-range jumpshots. |

We don't have a shooting coach.. we just designated an assistant to work with Ingram on his shot, but he's not a specialist |

Ain’t gonna happen this year. His jumpshot is not quite there. His FTs are not reliable either. |

and it shows on the court. How can a team like the Lakers not have a specialist shooting coach?? Jeanie time to hike up that skirt again and lure your old flame back to LA. Give Chip Engelland a blank check. Or get some of those Euro shooting coaches. |

I think that's the main problem he's having right now. He needs to be willing to let them fly a bit more. His finishing has been solid but if he's not willing to take jumpers guys will back off him. |

At least he echoed what everyone is saying here in the post-game interview, and the coaching staff is on the same page. Keep shooting, and if it doesn't fall, affect the game in other ways. That's basically the mantra he needs to live by this season. |

Correct.
Right now, as strange as it sounds, his form reminds me of Dennis Rodman shooting from the floor (Detroit Worm era) _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

It looks to me like they've changed his shot a lot in the last year. He used to have this low release that didn't take advantage of his length. It may just be that it will take a year before he gets his touch to line up with the new form.
He also doesn't appear to have put on the type of muscle you would hope after a year of professional training. Could be a physical limitation, could be something else.
Most guys this young just take years to develop. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

Unfortunately he was selected as 2nd pick so organization is pressured in starting him. Honestly, he should be coming off the bench. When Nance comes back I would consider nance starting at the 4 and Kuzma at the 3. Let him play against the 2nd string. Dude is a mental midget right now...btw the lakers should consider signing kuzminskas and drop Ennis. |

What constitutes "mental midget"?
Like what areas of his game specifically speak mental midget? |
