Two straight games against teams that can throw a lot of length out there. The Bucks are well-known for it, but he was also playing against the Len/Bender combo a ton tonight. Not surprising that he struggled - you could tell he was frustrated with it, because that's when he starts making bone-headed moves and decisions and his head starts to float out of the game. |

The trash talk to Booker made it all worthwhile. |

Is Jules just on a mission to piss off every fellow Kentucky alum? Does he have a hit list up in his bedroom where he crosses off a name after every success?

He struggled to finish all night tonight, but he played hard. 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, to go along with his 8 points in 19 mins. |

Yes, JR was decent on defense but should have taken a few more jumpers instead of driving the lane _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I’m convinced small ball center (and no other lumbering big next to him) is the best way. With bogut it was just terrible spacing. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I think he's just getting back at the alumns who brought trash sides to the annual UK ballers summer cookout. Julius was the grill master this year, while Booker showed up with some garbage jello salad no one except DeAndre Liggins ate. |

Julius said it wasn’t him that Booker was jawing with but wouldn’t throw his teammate under the bus. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

It looked like it was BShaw.
dude is street, he can get under your skin from the bench.
And make key 3's in a Game 7 vs Portland, nice work rattling him BShaw! _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

Yup, if he's having a night where he's not finishing well and not getting calls he's gotta take those jumpers.
It's frustrating because he showed a LOT of progress with his mid range jumper, but he almost never takes those anymore. |

Booker said it was one of the coaches, so good chance you're right. |

Yet the Phoenix commentators couldn't wait to say it was Julius and imply that he said something that was beyond the pale. |

I love his play of late. But he continues to make dumb plays again and again, even when he plays good. It gets irritating |

Impressed JC was able to work that out. Not any easy task. Guess it helps that both Brewer and Randle hit a three tonight. |

Absolutely looked like BShaw. I think he thought Booker flopped on that three and said something. That's my guess. |

It’s pretty clear Randles best spot is C. He’s so much better playing with his back to the basket and coming off pick and rolls. With Bogut in the paint, that all goes away.
That being said, it’s seemingly better to go big, than have Brewer at PF. We will have to wait it out for Nance to come back.
I would love to see Randle come in off the bench earlier for Brook so he can get minutes at C with the starters though. |

In his power forward minutes playing with Lopez would be a lot better for Randle's game than playing with Bogut. But if you pair him with . I think the main reason they went with the spacing lineup from hell tonight was that Luke was trying to match up with the Suns big frontcourt. The spacing was terrible in that lineup, but they held their own surprisngly. |

all I ask from Julius is to PASS THE BALL OUT OF THE POST when it's CLEAR that there's no chance of him getting a good shot.
When there's like 3 defenders all with their hands up around you in the post while you endlessly pump fake.. there's someone on your team open.
How he hasn't been called for more 3 in the key i'll never know.
I do like the defense sequences he puts together though. A lot of times when the team is behind he's in the thick of things spearheading the comeback. |

Is it me or was the Randle/Bogut frontcourt solid defensively? Seemed like they kept us in the game and were a + overall _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points." |

Defensively they are strong. But offensively very limited. Bogut has no O game at all. And while JR hesitates to shoot from outside...
I'm still waiting to see Lopez-Randle duo out there. Should be a much better fit. _________________ .

Maybe this is Luke's plan to force JR taking more long range shots?!

I dunno... with Luke, you never know. This could have been a last ditch effort to see if they can play Julius at PF at all. Luke obviously wants to give Bogut minutes which means if Julius is a backup C only, then he's riding the pine whenever Bogut is on the floor. If Luke pulls the plug on this idea, then whenever Bogut plays, Julius isn't going to hit the floor until the 2nd quarter. |
