LA Icon, Actor, Sailor and TV Host Tom Hatten turns 91 today.

I still have my squiggle drawing he made for me of a lion back 1983.

Amazing. LA Icon for sure. And I remember seeing him in the touring cast of "Annie" when I was a kid.

OMG, he's still alive! Loved him. Happy Birthday!

Popeye, sailors, squiggles, Family Film Festival. I remember watching him one weekend when he sadly announced Natalie Wood had died right after an airing of Miracle on 34th Street.

so many classic movies and cartoons we all might not have ever seen if not for Tom Hatten.

Yep. If you're an LA kid of the '60's, you literally grew up with him.
