It was so frustrating because we were essentially throwing away our picks while the Spurs were making great use of theirs. We kept trying to reload with broken down free agents while they had Parker and Ginoblli in their primes. |
I desperately wanted them to draft Barbosa in 2003 over Cook. I was way wrong about Kareem Rush over Tayshaun Prince in 2002, though. |

Oh yeah and don't forget about Agent 0, Micheal Redd- I think we traded our pick that year and I was totally calling for Josh Howard as well as Barbosa instead of Cook in 2003. I also wanted Varejao instead of Shasha. But at least sasha got some run. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

Wow - good stuff. He looks much taller than Kobe.
I'd like for him and Zo to spend a ton of time with the Mamba. |

ESPN is really trying to sell this game tonight. Two articles, one by Ramona, and this interview by The Undefeated's Marc Spears. I am a huge fan of his game but I never realize how big of a fan I am about this kid's personality and demeanor.
Here's the link. Also check out yesterday's interview of Kuz with Mason & Ireland. Some good stuff in there.

He's Ben Simmons with a jumper. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

He's Ben Simmons with a jumper. |
Kyle doesn't have the handles and vision of simmons.
And Simmons doesnt have the shooting ability of Kuz.
But pretty much the same person. |

He seems to want it. So many young Lakers have folded under big national games the past 3 seasons. Kuz and his spin moves have been showing up. Maybe dinner with Mamba was nothing more than real recognizing real. |

This rookie class seems hungry. I dont know if it was being around swaggy but the other rookies were more into being hollywood. I mean JC still says women are his motivation |

He seems like the real deal. Happy for all his success.
We're very fortunate to have him. When he physically matures more, I think his rebounding will improve as well. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Thank God for Kuzma and his fearless confidence. Lakers would be further behind in rebuild if they didn’t hit on this kid. He looks like he will be special, because he has a great skill set and he wants it. Against the 76ers, it looks like he’s trying to prove he’s the #1 pick |

Yep, it takes the sting out of Ball having so many terrible games. Maybe he will figure it out sometime. |

Kuzma is a true baller. I hope he gets some of his transcendent touch back on floaters, but he was awesome on the offensive boards tonight cleaning up his on misses. |

Some really nice passing tonight. Struggled some guarding Simmons, but the guy has lbs on him. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |
