I know he's in the G league right now but it just seems like he disappeared out of the rotation. Why? From what I recall he was definitely a plus for our team and almost certainly would be adding more than Vander freaking Blue. Any clues?

They're letting C get some PT in the gleague for now.

And as much as some dislike Blue, I think Luke wants to give him some burn to see if he wakes up and adds some off the bench scoring we lack; Blue is a capable scorer but he may be a little overwhelmed right now. Again, we lack scorers that Lonzo could use so hopefully Blue wakes up. We'll see.

Just my O though....

They should bring up Caruso, as he's the best PG on the roster. But, we all know they can't call him up because that would just be a bad PR move for the obvious reason.

Why can't we we just bring him up? Cut Blue bring up Alex seems easy enough

From what I understand you are only allowed 45 days in the NBA when you're on a two way contract and after that you can only play G-League. As such I'd wager they are probably spacing out those 45 days so they can use him and Blue in the rotation throughout the season.

So it is quite literally a case of Caruso had his turn, now it's Blues turn.

I thought Zubac and Hart were the only Lakers on assignment.

Caruso's is probably wondering why the Lakers didn't sign Matt Thomas to a contract instead of him....

Matt Thomas only averaging 16.8 PPG in 27 MPG shooting 57.1% (!!!) from 3 pt range.... in Euroleague

Damn, tough crowd on Caruso. He’s behind Ball, KCP, JC, Ennis, Brewer and now Blue in the guard rotation, let him get more burn in the G-unit. Bless

He only gets 45 days with the big club because of the two-way contract so best to let him get his reps in in the G-League and have him ready when/if there's an injury.

He is the one that got away, also the guy who I thought was one of the main reasons for our success in the summer league championship.
