Going by that Geocities site, I want Shake Milton.

NBAdraft is all over the place with misplaced prospects in the draft. It drives me nuts.

There's your PG/SG with size/physique and shooting ability, even if he's an average/marginal athlete at best.

Probably a good pick. Intense defender who can score the ball but he gets tunnel vision at times and is small. If he shoots the ball really well this year he could creep into the 1st round though.

Malik Pope.

The Athletic (Sam Vecenie) has Shake Milton in the late 1st round.

Denver's 2nd Round Pick:

Lagerald Vick - Kansas (Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!)

ok, should we start a 2019 thread?

No Jevon Carter??

(Also, heck no to Vick)

we will see where he is on the big boards....might be able to grab him as an undrafted....especially if they play like they did last week.

Hell yes to Vick.....I didn't get Jackson...so I get Vick.

What's the scoop Vick. I've heard a little about him but not nearly enough money what's his game?

I still have hopes for Malik. He has that archetype we seem to have fallen in love with. Athletic, long, versatile. He defends, shoots a little, and can push the break off of a rebound. Now if he can t just put it all.together and stay healthy.

Oh god. I’ve been talking about Pope here for the last 3 years. Obviously, he’s insanely long, can shoot a little, and is really athletic. But the guy hasn’t improved at all since he was a freshman...

IIRC the evil folks over at ESPN bought it and turned it into insider content. Could be wrong on that tho

Thank you for that mention since I had never heard of it until today.

Are their writers/analysts considered to be about equal or is there a star or two in the group?

That's why he's a mid 2nd rounder. He's a stretch 4 with tools.

I mean, if there's a strategy for a 2nd round pick or later, it's basically, find the guy with at least 1`NBA skill, or the guy that has size and is well-rounded.

Personal opinion. They go into more in depth and use more draft specific terminology than Mike and Jonathan Givony of former DX.

Every one of those guys is worth the read.

Malik Pope is the perfect kind of player that would fall to us, because he's a 4 year guy and looked like he'd fallen off in his first 3 seasons but he is having a fantastic Senior Year thus far.

Just two games into it though so we'll see if he maintains, hope he does.

Of course we could always go with Giannis's younger brother Kostas Antetokounmpo

Yeah, he's making moves like Giannis, not Thanasis. He won't slip.

Honestly, even Giannis wasn't making those moves at that age.

He may slip due to him being a Freshman at Dayton and coming off two years of not being able to play basketball due to injuries he dealt with. If he has a minute year due to him getting back into the swing of things, he may slip as a "project".

Milwaukee would just draft him ahead of LAL. Otherwise, I wish.

He did just do this

Also it may not be a popular choice, but Grayson Allen depending on how his season goes is also an option. Though people don't like him, he's probably a very solid fit next to Lonzo.

I know it's a bit early for the 2019 draft (almost 2 years away), but if we keep our draft pick somehow we can find another gem, depending on how the one & done rule change plays out! That draft could be extremely deep.
