Don't laugh. That could be us in 2031. Twenty one year drought? There is no true skill in building a team, there's only luck and timing. From Magic to Kobe.. what are the chances we get another generational player? Most teams rebuild, get a 50+ winning club that maintains that level for several years, don't win the chip, get old, rebuild again. We rebuild for championships, while most of the league rebuild to get to be contenders. We're like the rest right now. This Lebron plan, I don't see a title from it. We'll get some 50+ win seasons, then rebuild again when he retires. We are just like the rest of the field now. |

LOL! Sorry. But remember when the Jerrys in Chicago said "Organizations win championships, not players and coaches?" How many have they won since MJ retired? You can build all you want, it takes that special player. |

Ya I thought I was getting too old to get that one. I’m like that’s either something you do for fun or it’s something your forced to do out of disrespect. I have never heard it be used as the person doing it being the aggressor! LOL |

Meanwhile, the Lakers (who never had their full roster in training camp), the youngest team in the league, the team that is last in 3P% and FT%, are in the upper third of almost every defensive category and are winning games by hustling, hitting the boards and maintaining defensive integrity.
That is EXACTLY how this rebuild should go. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Some pretty smug fans quoted there for a 3 win team, acting like the Lakers are a lower tier in the NBA than the Bulls. 8 - 10 so far. Liking this defense, particularly the second half. Some fans I feel bad for. No pity for the Bulls though. |

I agree. I hope this defensive intensity and integrity stays all season long. |
