Mindaugas Kuzminskas.....

The guy who shot 32% from three is seen as a 'shooter' to fix the Lakers woes? Who's making these decisions!?!?!?!?!

4th best shooter on the worst shooting team in the league. Must sign him.

Like betting on black or red, the Lakers are letting it ride on Kuz.

why can't they just bring Matt Thomas if that's the case.

He signed overseas

He signed overseas after they decided to give the two way contract to that YMCA guy Pete Caruso.

Matt Thomas is also killing it overseas too. He's a real sniper from deep.

Would Caruso get picked last at any YMCA outside of LA?

According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, the franchise is currently in talks with Kuzminskas. “The Lakers are keeping tabs on free agent Mindaugas Kuzminskas,” Youngmisuk wrote. “According to sources with knowledge of the team's thinking, the Lakers, in need of perimeter shooting, are doing their due diligence and met with the forward recently while they evaluate their wing depth.”

Totally breezed by this when I read it initially: Are there any Lakers beat writers that corroborated this?

I don't understand why a 32% 3pt shooter is worth kicking someone off the roster.

If Kuz keeps his starting spot then the 2nd unit of JR, JC, LNJ needs another scorer and I believe this is where he would fit well. He appears to have a versatile offense game being able to put the ball on the floor and shoot the J. He has flashed his scoring in games and his 3pt fg % does not necessarily indicate his overall offensive abilities.
