Seriously, how hard is it to play your hot players?

I am not sure if Luke is the answer unless the question is who is the most overpaid man in America.

Last year he would ride the hot hand, this year? I have no idea what he's doing.

Luke does whatever the FO instructs....I strongly believe that....and our FO is all about hype, narrative and spin.

Nah...he was a stayover from a confused, failing regime.

Good news is LeBron will bring in his own guy.

Again - they're our guys and I'm rooting for Ball - but he just can't shoot right now. He can't be in in a game where we need buckets. It's like playing 4 on 5. Clarkson is a threat. Hell Couruso is a threat.

I agree Zo needs floor time but he needs to get an offensive game going and quick - we can’t have a guy who just hands off assists and play D

But he ain't the one shooting freethrows!!

We missed what? 18 freethrows?? We make our freethrows this game is a blow out!!

These guys are PRO BASKETBALL players missing the easist shot in basketball.

ESPN says we were 16-24 on FTs.

Ingram 5-9
Randle 7-10
Lopez 1-2.

Those were the 8 misses.

This loss sucked so bad, I was thinking it looked like a last year tank job loss in a winnable game. No draft pick means no silver lining in this atrocity.
This team is mentally weak. Worst free throw % in the NBA is all in the head!
Made FT win this game

Let’s fire the whole staff and get a good shooting coach in. There’s no progressed with shooting over the past year with our young players maybe except clarkson.

Lonzo can't even shoot in practice when it's 1 vs 0 (look at the video with him and Kuzma). He's not developing any kind of a shot this year.

Im so pissed right now. So many winnable games if we only had a decent head coach who didn't (bleep) up rotations. man (bleep) luke. it's time to get rid of this experiment. get a real NBA coach. No more interns.

Lonzo ball for three?

Deandre rebounds, no one fouls him and instead they wait for Lou to get the ball before fouling?

Leaving Randle in during crunch time with only KCP as an outside threat and leaving Kuzma on the bench?

Subbing in Kuzma while they were playing defense and taking out Randle who has been a decent rim protector in crunch time?

(bleep) LUKE WALTON!

My fault I must've heard wrong. Either way still too many misses, if we just make 6 of those we win this game

Getting very sick of Luke. This is an unacceptable loss. Clippers were very short handed, and he just handed the game to them. How the (bleep) does Kuz only get 20 minutes? I understood playing Nanceagainst Blake since he did a Greta job on him, but why no time for Kuz with Blake out? We desperately needed scoring to counteract Lou, which Luke should know given Lou was with us last season. Just stupid.

We were predicted to win 29 games, we aren’t good

So we should aim to come right in at the expectation instead of exceeding it? This team has lost a few winnable games already this season due at least partially to poor coaching decisions. It stands to reason that they might be able to overachieve with better coaching decisions.

I think Lavar is right about needing to be harder on Lonzo. Bring him off the bench - if he wants to start, he needs to earn it.

I don't think that's what he meant by being hard on him. He wants Lonzo playing more minutes.

Tough to win when your starting PG is giving you 3 points and the veteran center that's supposed to be an offensive weapon only gets 5 points and 1 rebound. I won't give Luke a pass, but, he also can't go on the floor and perform for these guys. The blame is shared.

I totally agree!!! We need the Mark Jackson, teacher of fundamentals, before we need a Zen master ego masseuse. We are the worst FT shooting team in the league - Focus, coaching, mental weakness are all at fault for tonight's loss!

To make matters worse... it's not like we have a pick to tank, so it's obvious that Luke is trying to destroy the team right now.

KCP showed again why he's not a max contract. I remember people warning us that he can be really clutch but also was really streaky. He also holds some responsibility for chucking and forcing some shots once he got cold.

It's actually mind boggling how we're 8-11 when we are top 10 in defensive efficiency and #1 in points in the paint.

Then again we have no shooters and turn the ball over constantly.

The only way this FO moves Luke is if the blame gets past him and begins to hit them....then they will gladly sacrifice him and insinuate that is where all the blame belongs....Luke is nothing more than Magic's tool.

Good job Luke! All hail the God of Rotations! What would our record be this year with a real coach? Seriously, if they had given that interim coaching job to a Golden State ball boy, would a ball boy be our head coach right now?

BRAD STEVENS. HOW DID WE MISS OUT ON HIM.
