my god, i am so not looking forward to tomorrow's game against a well-rested Houston team lead by most-likely MVP this season.

We are toast, my friends. Toast.

Every game that seems like it will be a blowout ends up being close. I'm sure they'll be like every other team and go cold from 3 against the Lakers.

Just that it actually hurts in some strange way...not sure why, 9-13 wasn't much better but it does

Kuz did play more and shot more just not there tonight as usual

But last 5 minutes just seemed Lakers started doing silly TO and long range shots for the most part

I've got nothing at this moment. I need a stiff drink

Last 5 minutes were very frustrating (agreed)

I need s a stiff drink (make that two)

Make that three

You guys too slow, I a already drinking

I'll just say Cheers... and exhale

Cheers boys, sorry if I was rude

Not rude, realistic!

Lukle's predictable idiotic substitutions killed our momentum and flow. It was already too late by the time he was forced to go back to it.

Like I said. Luke holds this team back. Keep defending the guy. He's NOT an NBA caliber coach and is wasting our time while he learns on the job but refuses to acknowledge the things he lacks as a coach or does wrong.

Well these are more of the lost years. I doubt Luke is the coach if they miraculously sign an allstar or two. Jimbo/Mitch era has made this rebuild alot harder than it should be.

The Jimbo era let Quin Snyder, MDA, and Messina slip away while keeping MB, Byron, and Lewwwwwke....disgusting.

The Lakers had Messina and Snyder on their coaching staff and Steve Clifford as defensive assistant when Mike Brown was here but all Lakers fans did was scream "WE WANT PHIL!!"

Sometimes you don't know what you got....

The unhealthy, relentless obsession with the past is a huge problem for the Lakers right now

And with Mr. Midnight Society, Captain End Every Sentence with "Like Big Game James and Byron Scott" and Ms. #STAYD12 it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon.

Agreed 100%

They gotta fire Luke the guy just doesn't know what he's doing. Mark Jackson is the guy I want. He's the one that made the Warriors into winners.

Ball and Ingram had no rhythm coming in 6 minutes left in the 4th. They've sat in the bench for too long, might as well finish with the bench players. Nance destroys our spacing out there.

Great point! These hockey subs are killing us.

Look at all the games we could've and should've won. This team could very well have a reversed record right now. A lot of the blame has to be on the coach.

I posted this in the injury thread as well but since folks are still here emoting;

Per Trudell

Lonzo Ball had some calf tightness and got treatment after the game. He’ll be talking to the media shortly.

Watching postgame, its so obvious Organization is trying so hard to not point out Zo's faults and boost his positives.

I get the strategy, but its too obvious. Lol

It hurts because this is one of the few times we'll catch a break like tonight. I'm pissed too.

Mark Jackson can develop young players which he has proven with the Warriors for 3 years. He is a big fan of Kuzma and BI

Better than most team's shows. Most teams don't even have their own channel still stuck on FSN

TWC curse has been alive and well since the Lakers made a agreement with them, for every late game collapses the last couple of years.. those same late game situations used to be the Lakers going on runs or hitting a game winner.

I think it's gonna be a while before the Lakers find there winning grove, to many stuff like Dr.Buss passing away and other elements have played a role on our regression as a franchise.

No need to get overly pessimistic. A lot of the issues surrounding the Lakers was the management which is now ran by new faces.
I'm confident Magic and Pelinka will turn this team around.
