This is the kind of draft where you'd cherish 2 lottery picks. Kings so typical of them gave away #10. Glad they didn't get Donovan Mitchell or Kuzma.

Shout out to all of us that kept telling folks in the Draft Thread all year.....the 2017 draft was special.....and very deep!

My assessment of this draft is that is was a really deep draft and that there was legit talent on the top but not an obvious Simmons-like superstar. I think that's still the case

What I didn't think was how ready a lot of these guys look out of the gate. There's going to be a changing of the guard in the NBA soon with all the young talent out there

Donovan Mitchell says do not engrave Ben Simmons name on that ROY trophy just yet!

31 points / 1 Rebound / 4 Assists / 5 Steals against the Thunder....

OG! Good to see him getting recognized for his solid role-playing on a good team.

Also, Jackson's dunk on the Polish Hammer was nasty!

I think RPM overrates a couple of players types (low usage defenders, bigs), so I compare guys with other players that are similar to what they are.

Donovan Mitchell with another big game!

32 Points / 3 Rebounds / 6 Assists / 2 Steals / 1 Block in a loss to Chicago.

In December, he is averaging 26 / 3 / 3

Man, can’t believe Tatum leads the league on 3pt shooting. That’s amazing for a rookie.

I can’t believe we didn’t draft him.

Those are the four no-brainers. No clear #5 at this point. I might go for Lauri Markkanen.

My bad, should've linked it.

Seen anything about how he's shooting off the bounce?

I'm torn between him and Collins.

no, he is starting now for Booker....still shooting like poo, and a turnover machine....decided I would quit checking up on him so often in hopes of being pleasantly surprised in a couple weeks.

If Ball's week turns out to be more of a trend than just a good week, I think his odds are still good at moving into that spot.

I was sooooooo wrong about Donovan Mitchell I wonder if he was the Lakers' guy when they were trying to trade DLO for a lottery pick (when that story was announced)... him and Lonzo...

I will say this... if the Lakers had the balls to feature Kuzma more how they did when he was starting, he'd be putting up similar scoring numbers that Mitchell is right now. I 100% believe that. It's so frustrating! He's not the defender that Donovan is though.

Also agree that Josh Jackson will look a lot better in a few years.

Josh Jackson needs to learn how to shoot or the Suns are going to have to find a way to put a bunch of shooters around him:

he is very inefficient...and is a turnover machine....he is having a very Ingram like rookie season. That said, if you bump his MPG up to Lonzo's MPG...his counting stats appear much better @ 17 PPG / 7 RPG / 2 APG.

17/8/9 with a 18.71 PER....I do not think anyone will come close to catching that.....like remotely close. Mitchell and Kuzma could catch him in points, but not across the board....and I can not even envision the kind of push Lonzo would need to get in the conversation.....he would have to average near 25/10/10 the rest of the way.
