That dunk on Embiid was beautiful.
Also clutch defense on him at the end of the game. The steal, and the two stops. That final stop was extremely vital as it lead to Lonzo getting out on transition and thus setting up the Ingram 3 to win the game. He scored 8 points in the 4th as well.
That + the Defense. Great game from him tonight. Had that turnover at the end, but then he came back and stopped Embiid on the defensive end. That's what I like to see. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

PAY THE MAN!
Randle came up big offensively and defensively at the end of the game. He brought the toughness and fire the Lakers needed. |

Can't say enough about him. He gives up 5 inches and who knows how much in the back seat to Embiid but he battled, and basically played him to a draw in their time. Which is really saying something. Agreed with everyone, gotta keep him. |

Props. Destroyed Embiid in that last 5 minutes of the game. |

Randle is great when he doesn't dribble the ball. I mean that very literally. Good game by him though

More and more people are going to start looking at Luke and asking him why Randle isn't starting. The Lakers beat reporters are already doing it and soon the national reporters will start too.
The perception of what Randle was is slowly starting to get chipped away this season. Like a few of us predicted Julius has taken a big leap this year and I still expect him to improve even more as the season goes on. |

You're over exaggerating.
It's like when people kept insisting that Randle was terrible at leading fast breaks even though he's consistently been more effective at it than the rest of the team.
Randle has the occasional bad turnover while dribbling just like every other player on the Lakers. |

A few more games like this and he's off the trading block. |

Randle's got a lot of DOG in him. A dog that sometimes turns his mind off, but a dog nonetheless. Loved his toughness at the end tonight. |

Will tonight game finally kill the myth that Julius has only been playing well because he's been going against bench players? |

Put Nance on the trading block instead of Randle.
Nance came back from injury as a new man -- Samaki Walker. |

If I'm LeBron/Cousins/PG, Julius and Clarkson are 2 guys I want to have on my squad.
Julius has been nothing short of phenomenal (at times). Find a way to keep him.. difference maker. |

It's been like that for some time and it's something he never gets credit for...
Someone posted a few months back the numbers and Julius's FG% was highest among all Lakers in late game situations. Doesn't matter if he's got the ball in his hands or is playing off ball. Even last year on the defensive end Julius got the Lakers key stops late in games. |
