What a stat line by Ball tonight. He had all types of energy. Amazing burst in the open floor. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts! |

Ball was amazing tonight. His best "quiet" game of the season thus far. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

His stats aside (which was great tonight), I loved his aggressiveness the most.
Taking it to the rack multiple times and actually looking to score. That's available for Lonzo so much but it seems like he's auto-pilot on passing.
I feel like this might be his turnaround game where he realizes that he does belong. Having a good game against the leading ROY candidate in Simmons.
Hopefully he keeps it going. |

Good overall game tonight. It's been awhile since he showed this much aggression. |

Fantastic game by Lonzo. Monster with the 7 stocks and 0 turnovers. Great composure down the stretch. Love the basketball IQ (e.g. no one will remember how he tapped the tip to keep the position on the jump ball). And a killer drive and dish to Ingram for the winning basket. |

Coaches love the kid. Brown called him elite in the open floor. |

That make off the glass was beautiful. Incredibly hard shot when we needed it the most. _________________ Showtime 2.0 |

It’s all good as long as he gets layups which he did |

He's capable of comfortably playing faster than everyone else when he's right. That first half is one of the first times he's really applied that in the NBA. |
Agreed. I didn't see the whole game, but the parts I saw were very encouraging. Lots of energy on defense, moving without the ball, and looking aggressive when he had the ball. The threes weren't dropping, but he was dangerous going to the rim. |

it's not about stats, it's about energy and tenacity and tonight he showed both of those in spades. |

That alley oop to Randle that wasn't. He looked a step faster than everyone, where has that been? |

The bigger stat(s) for me is he stole the ball 3 times, blocked 4 shots and had a total of...0 personal fouls. How do you do that and not be a great defender? |

If only BI hadn't thrown that lob behind him - a Zo poster on Embiid would've been so sweet. |

Ball had a very nice game... save for that last three he took, he played within the flow for the entire game. Him dictating the pace on offense was key down the stretch. |

I think Luke told him to take a 2 for 1. I like the shot in that it showed he wasn't scared. |

Like anyone has been saying, his lack of offense is holding him back, if he develops it he's gonna be really good. |
