very satisfying win considering all things said and done before the game tonight.

Probably the most satisfying win I can think of so far this season.

Na.. The team won this one..

Clarkson came in and gave us some much needed scoring..

Randle came in and played solid D and gave us timely buckets.

Ingram got us off to a great start, and sealed it.

Zo gave us good pace and made great decisions.

Zo had 4 blocks.

Hes good at tracking guys after they get by him getting an angle for that block. He also doesn’t let them know where he is so he can avoid contact seekers looking to draw fouls

Haters can't help themselves. Some haters (Chuck and Kenny included) are now pushing the narrative that, Lonzo, was scared to take two wide open shots including a layup, and the Lakers luckily won despite, Lonzo's, bad final play.

I think a wide open jumper by Ingram was better than, Lonzo, challenging two guys at the rim. Haters don't see it that way. Bizarro world.

#10 in steals

His shooting percentage is slowly going up. 37.8% over the past four games.Still poor, but better than 31%.

While I think all around stats for a PG are not all that indicative I loved Lonzo's ability to push the pace. He can play the game at a speed that very few can and he should always look to attack.
He looked really good this game and it wasnt his all around stats. While those are nice I find them pretty misleading for a PG but the abilty to push the pace, thats very special.

Props to Lonzo. He gets a praise from me after the game he had last night. I was really impressed and he should continue playing like that. Good blueprint for what kind of a game he should play. Sure he still looked shaky at best absorbing contact but if he just continues getting to the rim and playing at that pace...thats impact!!!
How many players in the league can play at that pace? Is there anyone?

I was Lonzo's biggest critic here probably...but with this game he gave me something to be excited about. Playing at that pace.

Notice also when the offensive player tries to draw contact, Lonzo NEVER bites and his reaction is super fact. He immediately puts both hands up. I often see the offensive player getting off balance or throwing up junk.

He's such a good defender, age or not, at the hardest position to defend.

Lebron took a lot of crap until he choked verses the Mavs. That was like 8 full seasons. The narrative changed after the Heat beat OKC in the finals. Lonzo too will have to hear all the same crap, if not more.
