Self-Determination Paved the Path for South Bay Lakers rookie forward Stephaun Branch

Growing up in Upland, California, the now 22-year-old NBA G League Rookie for the South Bay Lakers had zero validation from others throughout his formative years that basketball would land him where he is today. That’s why it’s a testament to his self-determination for not only following, but actually believing in his dreams.
Great clutch shot by Bryant to make the win possible! Fantastic outing by Caruso again. +40 point game real nice hustle out there tonight to get the victory
Agreed! Thomas has to get quicker and a little more aggressive defensively, work on his footwork and rebounding but the Big Mamba can shoot the lights out.
Don't sleep on Caruso either. This kid is talented and hungry. he can do it all.
IMO he could end up having a career equal to Steve Blake in the right situation. Which was quite respectable.
Both of these kids are proving that they can flat out play.
The South Bay Lakers have a lot of talent and play an exciting brand of basketball that is definitely worth watching.

Nice, the Steve Blake comp haha, I dig it. I am hopeful he's our backup PG going forward.
And T.Bryant is just looking crazy with the stroke, finishing strong as well it seems
The SB Lakers are loaded with guys that can shoot the rock and they are deadly from the free throw line.
Machado, Caruso, Wear, Bryant, Branch and Ingram are all at, near or above 80% from the line.

Lakers need somebody who can shoot the 3 and it seems there is a guy that is under contract who can hit them and hit them in the clutch. I say lets play him he is faster then Lopez right now and he will open the court.
