Insert Randle into the starting lineup for Nance and I'll give Luke a pass for a couple of weeks. Or just give him 30+ MPG. Hope we trade Nance at the deadline so Luke wont have a choice but to play Kuzma and Randle more.

Please no. Larry at center is a no no IMO.
Unless u mean Larry and Brook off the bench.

Luke's done a good job in the sense every returning young core's trade value has gone up since last year (Clarkson, Randle, Ingram, Nance). I'm sure he has met or exceeded the FO's expectations in this regard.

Yeah that's what I want at least - Kooz and Randle starting

For whatever reason (ideological stubbornness or an aesthetic bias), Luke doesn't feel it's proper to start a game just running pick and rolls, and that's Julius' bread and butter on the offensive end. Frankly, I think he's used him better this season than last season. The set offense never let him shine to this degree.

Great point.
We want more offball screens instead of pnr, like the warriors.

Magic claimed in the interview which aired tonight that they wanted to bring in a shooting coach last summer, but Luke didn't think they needed one. Now Magic says Luke doesn't have a choice given that we're last in the league in 3pt%, so we're bringing one in regardless.

Just saw Magic mentioning that Luke didn't think we needed a shooting coach prior to this offseason. Magic: "It's not going to be his choice this year."

Haha. We're both banging out the quote on the keyboard. Just realized I had a couple minutes I could fast forward in the DVR after you beat me to it.

Thank you both for the info, are either of you aware if this interview will be available online?

That's exactly what we are doing. Showcasing LNance

Not if we play him at center.

I mean, the results speak for themselves. It's a good investment and glad the front office is pushing this

NO. A shooting coach does not just mean a former player who could shoot, but an actual coach who studies the crap out of shooting daily.

So Luke was either confident in his staff's ability to teach our players how to shoot or he didn't see the obvious shooting weakness that others easily noticed.

LaVar is gonna apply

He's not there yet but I've liked the changes in BIs shot. Could be Keefe?

Magic should just throw a monster offer to Chip. SoCal roots and may be intrigued with working with Ball.

Nash might be a guy to look at. Maybe too much salt to go down. But iirc his family still lives in SoCal. Nash and Kerr are really close friends as Luke and Kerr are. Could be a connect.
