Caruso is talented and hungry. His desire, skill and basketball IQ are high level. He can score, pass and he hustles on defense. He definitely knows how to manage an offense.
Caruso was good before he got to South Bay; we were lucky to pick him up especially after losing Maggette to the Hawks. I believe that he is a slight upgrade.

I see him getting playing time in the near future with the Lakers.

His NBA career path is somewhat similar to David Nwaba. Let's hope we can keep him around a little longer though.

IMO he could end up having a career equal to Steve Blake in the right situation. Which was quite respectable.

Here's played 66 total minutes in 12 games.
I think it's more beneficial for Alex to get minutes in the G.

Um... anyone else want to acknowledge how athletic Caruso may actually be...

Got the feeling if his hair didn't make him look older than he actually is(23) we'd be talking about this a bit more

JC may be sticking (pending all the supposed All Star arrivals) but
Ennis is probably out in the future.

Caruso showed a real nice two-man game with Zubats. looks better running the floor. More comfortable out there. Hope it translates back into real NBA games

JC is definitely getting traded, his play is good enough where other teams will want him, which is great for the Lakers.

Should send Ennis to the G league and bring up Caruso. I guess they don't want two rooks but what is Ennis doing?

Yes, great that we get young players who show they can play in this league so we can give them away. That is how titles are won!

Titles aren’t won with young players, they are won with stars. Lakers entire plan is based on getting a star or two in the off season with cap space.

I know the fantasy, we need a backup plan when it fails. And where do you think stars come from? Young players.

Alex Caruso has rejoined the @Lakers as part of his two-way contract and will join the team in Houston.

@ACFresh21 has averaged 18.8 points, 7.5 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 16 @NBAGLeague games this year.

And exactly what JC is good at our team desperately needs. Unless you replace that with a guy who does those things well (which stars do), you're giving up a lot.

It goes without saying that JC only gets traded for a star, not for a lower caliber player. I just think that JC is expendable if the star is available, whether from cap space or trade.

Even the future great DLO was expendable, because of Mr. Cap Space.

Welcome Back Bald Mamba! I wonder if they would have brought him along regardless of the KCP situation. I mean dude is from Texas and Luke seems to be aware of these things.

I'd shave off whatever he has left up there - might be an improvement
