|
|
I know this is late, I had it ready late last night but figured I'd wait until morning and see if someone better skilled at this created one by that time... then I wake up to find my car was broken into so that kind of altered my plans...
Anyway, here's my first QFTOS. From atthehive.com:
Quote: | monk and bacon gonna go off!
Let’s do this! |
Quote: | Best Move
Move Nic to SF and insert bacon (Lamb when healthy) in the starting lineup. Bring MKG off the bench with monk as the 2. Nic is playing out of position and stinking it up. MKG should also not be a shooting guard since he can’t really shot. This would make a huge difference in my opinion. |
This guy comes back later...
Quote: | It's official for me. If we lose again, I am going to take an indefinite break from subjecting myself to the crap we've been putting on the court lately. |
Quote: | i see... lonzo being aggressive on kmba
trying exploit |
Quote: | Kemba gone go off.
A little defense would be nice doe. |
Quote: | Same problem we've been having, can't stop anyone from scoring. |
Quote: | These young fellas are going to make some mistakes, but you've got to let them play.
We aren’t winning any championships this year anyway, but they could develop nicely with some playing time. |
Quote: | I love the way that LA is using Ball... playing him through his mistakes
He’s the future and they know that. |
Quote: | The energy of the young guys is refreshing
They lack rhythm right now but still it is kind of fun to watch |
Quote: | 2 beautiful passes from MONK.
Our defense sucks ass. |
Quote: | Monk looks like he has lost confidence in his shot. Sometimes, benching young players is not good for their psyches. |
Quote: | Agreed.
They also need to work on getting the kid open looks. |
Quote: | lol this is basically like watching a summer league game |
Quote: | Kemba should be getting that call at this point in his career. And, Lebron barks like that all the time without the technical |
Quote: | Watching this team is hard its like pro wrestling
We are the Bret Hart or Dolph Ziggler of the NBA we can have a great match with anybody young old or other but in the end we take pin putting other teams over its a hard watch |
Quote: | weird stat of the night:
Charlotte’s starters did not shoot a single free throw until the 2:14 mark in the 2nd half |
Quote: | the Hornets are totally clueless in transition this game
the Lakers have been consistently finding someone open on the perimeter |
Quote: | Kemba shoots about five seconds too early, misses, and we give up a wide open 3 in transition. Just awful |
Quote: | Kinda sums up our season thus far. |
Quote: | yeah that shot was way too early by Kemba
and Lopez tried to recover after the crossover on Ball; had Kemba drove he would’ve had an easy layup or an easy dump off to Howard.
Bad decision by the captain.
Then of course for like the 15th time this game, the Hornets give up a transition three |
Quote: | Time to start drinking heavily. |
Quote: | Coach: "Keep Ingram off his right hand..."
First offensive play by LA, Ingram drive with his right hand.
Good job team. |
Quote: | Dwight has been fantastic. I would have never believed at the beginning of the season that we would be this bad with Dwight being as good as he has been |
Quote: | lol...
Caldwell Pope just stole the ball on a handoff… let that sink in. |
Quote: | So how many more games before someone is traded or gets fired. I’d take a yeti tumbler and a can of cashews for batum |
Quote: | This has got to be a very discouraging season for Kemba. He had to feel like we would be better than this.
How much longer before he starts believing that he will never be able to win in Charlotte. |
Quote: | lol the Hornets are about to lose to the Lakers |
Quote: | This team is so bad. They can’t defend basic offensive sets |
Quote: | wonder what the Lakers would ask for Randal. I don't think he is excited with his playing time and he could be a nice fit here. |
Quote: | they've been asking for a first for him all season
that’s why he’s still a Laker |
Quote: | I would be pissed if I were Clarkson. He looks like a much better player than Ball. He's sure a lot better than our backup point guard. |
Quote: | This is humiliating. |
Quote: | lakers knows kemba only option, blitzing him |
Here's the guy from earlier, making good with a heavy-handed 2 week self ban
Quote: | Well, guys, I am a man of my word. I am self-imposing a Hornets ban for the near future.
The length of my ban is undetermined, but I imagine I will come crawling back before Christmas. I wish you all a Merry Christmas in case I don’t make it back before the holiday. Maybe my absence will break whatever jinx the Hornets find themselves in.
Take care everyone. |
Quote: | Could we get Clarkson straight up for Kemba? Not sure if the Lakers would do that? |
Quote: | Kemba Walker is an All-Star point guard making 12 million a year
with Bird rights.
Are you insane, dude? He’s probably worth 2 lottery picks to the right team. |
Quote: | Take off the Homer glasses
Kemba is a good offensive player who is not a true distributor and too small to defend. He is a liability on defense in the playoffs. Two lottery picks, you must be kidding. No team would give that. He is not Irving!! I love the Hornets and Kemba but it is time for some realism about the talent on this team. |
Quote: | Let’s go lakers chant in your house. Can it get any worse |
Quote: | well it was an expected loss
But still frustrating |
Quote: | We embarked on a massive rebuild 7 years ago. This is when it's supposed to be bearing fruit.
Instead, we’ve regressed two straight years. Every team we play has more young, promising talent than we do. This rebuild was obviously a bust. I’m finally ready to give up on this rebuild, accept our rightful place in the basement of the NBA, and try again in 5 years. |

The best quote is from the Josh Hart thread they have on Reddit.
Quote: | Great the Lakers pillaged our team and now they're taking our women
Is that the one who was proposed to the other day? |

in all fairness....is this really a dig at Batum? Yeti Tumblers are not cheap!

I have been to Lakers games in 4 other teams arena's.....and it's my experience, wherever we (Lakers) step on the court, it becomes our house |

What happened to Monk? I thought he was NBA ready. He's shooting 32%, Lonzo territory. LOL! |

Thanks OP! I can just imagine the salty tears of the fans when the ‘Lets go Lakers’ chants erupted. I remember that putting a smile on my face the other day. |

These guys actually don't show much for douchbaggery, a bit opposite of that for the most part in fact.

Most teams fans start out with, "This should be an easy win for us." Or something stupid about their young star scoring 60 vs Lonzo... I actually dig their quotes. Well except for the guy who's jumping ship. Maybe he's a Lakers fan now? 😂 |

Then there are fans of teams with equivalent records who go, "We lost to the Lakers?!?!" I saw a gimp on UnrealGM pair LAL with the Bulls as the two worst teams in the league and the Hornets just lost to both! _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

I was at the game, both times the section I was in (right behind the rim second half) started the chant. Felt like I was surrounded by Lakers fans. Loved it. Great game to go to. Missed it last year. Unfortunately two rows behind was an old lady with a cow bell she made sure to use EVERY time the hornets did ANYTHING of value. Felt like i was in Sactown. |
