Unbelievable defense from a rookie guard. His offense is coming around. Good things happen when he's aggressive, make or miss.

I wouldn't mind if Luke had put in JC for Ball at the end, but I think the FO and coaching staff know JC is probably one of the pieces that will be gone soon so it makes sense to let Ball get crunch time experience.

Happy to see him step up in the big stage. Need to learn from this.

He should stop posting in crunch time. He's bad at it.

So yes, let's have a bunch of dudes in there at crunch time who are turnover prone and make poor decisions with the ball.

Randle and Ingram had the lions share of the turnovers- Zo had 1 as the primary ball handler

Because we need to win enough to land 1 or 2 max FAs. However, Lonzo deserved to be on the floor in crunch time tonight. He was solid.

Nice game by Lonzo, his offense seems to be improving piece by piece. First his layup conversion improved, now his shot is getting better and his misses are a lot closer. His dunk frequency is increasing as well.

Dude is a force multiplier, I’m excited to see him next year with a more mature game, with an improve kuzma along side him and hopefully with some better talent. Seeing him set brook for open 3s that are bricked, or setting nance up for open 15 footers he refuses to take is painful to watch.

Shot + aggression = game changing superstar.

Dude was clearly hurting and gassed in the 4th and OT, and he still created a bunch of open looks which KCP clanked the (bleep) outta and putback opportunities.

Lonzo's turnover wasn't even his fault. Kuzma cut for no reason when his man was collapsing into Lonzo

I bet tonight was a surprise for the casual fan at MSG that thought Ball was a bust because that is what they hear people saying.

That play hurt.
Kuz would have been wide open for a corner 3

Honestly, I hold my breath a lot of times when other players have the ball in key situations because I'm afraid of their decision making ability. Lonzo doesn't make a lot of poor decision. His numbers prove it out. I read some lame article trying to downplay Lonzo's ball handling by pointing out that he led the Lakers in turnovers and was 46th in the NBA or some crap in A/TO ratio among point guards or something. Talk about cherry picking stats. He's got the best ratio among the top 10 leaders in assists per game.

I love that Lonzo showed more aggression... he's just got to keep going like Clarkson and Kuzma. I'm not talking about chucking, but continuing to shoot wide open shots when the defenders sag off of him and help on double teams. It's coming together, slowly but surely.
