Lethargic from start to finish. It was bound to happen sooner or later because they were on a roll. Only their third loss though.

Travis Wear paced the Lakers with 17 points, five rebounds and two assists while Stephen Zimmerman totaled 14 points and four rebounds.

Bryant, Lakers Take Down Stars

Quote:
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The South Bay Lakers got back in the win column on Monday when they beat the Salt Lake City Stars, 106-97, to avoid their first losing streak of the season. South Bay (11-3) had seven players score in double figures as they won without two-way guards Vander Blue and Alex Caruso who were both out with injuries.

Thomas Bryant led the way with 20 points, six rebounds and three assists, while Demarcus Holland scored a career-high 14 points to put away the Stars (3-12) for their 11th win of the year.

Zubac has actually done this against NBA players. So Zubac.

Bryant has good upside though and can hit from three.

I do wonder at times if Bryant because of his ability to stretch the floor could play the 4 as well. Or backup 4 anyway.

i would play them together as twin towers, with Bryant at 4 shooting 3's and thus making space inside for Zubac.

they are future of Lakers, Lopez and Bogut won't be back next season and Randle will probably be traded (which would be a shame, but that's NBA bussiness unfortunately)
