I actually forgot he was still in the league. We dodged a bullet with that bum walking away from us.

Who is this Dwight character you speak of?
There was this Kobe guy who got 2 jerseys retired on Monday and then some Laker rookie scored 38 points over the team with the best record in the western conference today....

His days of being a DPOY all-star are long gone, but he's actually have a pretty good season.

He is putting up ~ 16/13 per game.
He is an idiot but not bad considering the type of game he has.

Had he checked his ego at the door he may have been a great player with the Lakers. When he first came he still had game. He and some others couldn't/can't get over the fact that THIS WAS KOBE'S TEAM!!!

This guy had such a strange career given how good he was at 23. Ridiculous defensive impact and able to average 20+ PPG on 60% from the field despite not having many offensive skills.

He had out-of-this-world athleticism. But then injuries and attitude did him in.

Ultimately, the personalities of players are forgotten and they are judged by their stats. So in the future, people will look at these "down" years for Dwight, see he put up 16-13 on good shooting and think that is impressive.

I can't believe it was just a short time ago he was considered the best big man in the league.

It's remarkable that Charlotte is such a media black hole. If one of the Hornets groped a female reporter while kneeling for the national anthem wearing an ISIS t-shirt, it wouldn't make the news.

Dwight Howard is a good example of what happens when you don't work on your game or conditioning. He left plenty of potential on the table.

Call him that from the stands and he'll react to it like it isn't true. He'll have to be restrained, all that. It's happened before.

Want it get depressed: When his contract ends in two years, Howard's career earnings will be $239 million, not including endorsements.

15.6 and 12.2 to be exact. It is also worth mentioning that he is posting a career low in offensive efficiency but with the second highest usage rate of his career. He's also posting his second worst turnover rate of his career. And lets not forget the 2nd worst defensive rating of his career. Compared to Brook, he's still effective, but he's clearly on the final decline.

He's never been the same since that back surgery and the whole nerve damage from eating too much candy thing.

It's no small irony that Dwight would be a huge improvement over anyone we have playing center for the LAL this season, which makes me offer this. Why would some fans go out of their way to kick a guy today who still plays that good ? It's because he rejected the Laker team. I wish he'd stuck around frankly.

It would make the news if it was a black player groping a white female reporter, it's North Carolina.
