All these closet coaches here drive me crazy. I am not the greatest coach ever but experienced enough to recognize those who never have. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

Man, can we (bleep) start JC and Randle already. (bleep) start Kuzma as well. Start off offensively strong, then bring in kcp if we need a stop. Bring lonzo along gradually instead of ramming his ass with minutes. The team reeks of politics. Man, simetimes i wished the organization was more like the spurs. Wheres the basketball in this team?
Had to rant, piss and moan thread...

The truth is, there are NO coaches here, just people with opinions and opinions are easy to disagree with... _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

I agree...
Most every other Team, most every other Laker Team, most every other team in the history of the NBA... STARTS their BEST Players, the fact that we have a horrible record, yet one of the top scoring benches PROVES that Luke is blowing it...big time...! _________________ “Always remember... My own P&M, but why are so many Lakers games on NBA TV? I have NBA League Pass + every channel that broadcasts games EXCEPT NBA TV. It is the most frustrating thing ever... |

It is. But I also have Sling TV, and for $5 more a month, it includes NBA TV.
My cord-cutting is now slowly approaching what I would have paid for cable TV (at least the introductory rates for the 1st year ). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Does anyone else think the front office is kinda cringey at public events & ceremonies... like every time they talk?

Well, politics is a fact of life. Clarkson and Randle are from an era before Magic, and that era has a taint and history of losing. It's pretty normal that when leadership changes at the top, that he slowly installs his own people. It works the same way for presidencies, it works the same way for basketball.
See, if you're smart, and you see leadership at the top changes, d'lo gets whacked, and the hype is all in Ingram (untouchable), Kuzma, and Lonzo...I would hustle because I know my ass is on the fire.
Should something happen, who is leadership going to blame? Is the captain going to out his loyal lieutenants or go after the losing legacy?
You always hear from the media that Ingram and Ball are the hardest workers. If your ass is on the fire, you need to work harder than them two so the top leadership can't say that. That's just how it is. They're not gonna say that YOU are the hardest worker, but it'll prevent leadership from saying the favorites are the hardest workers.
At the end of the day you can't really call it politics. Being held accountable for an era of losing isn't blatantly unfair. |

We are giving Lopez, KCP, Deng, and Brewer $64 (bleep) million this season. 65% of the cap goes to a bunch of bums who contribute next to nothing.
And it all goes back to those (bleep) Mozgov and Deng contracts. (bleep) it |

You're right, Magic has shown clearly with this season that he's separate from this "culture of losing." Good call. |

Yeah, if you think about it, that's Magic's real intent. He wants assets that can play Luke Walton's style of two way, fast-paced basketball. He wants to be the GSW. He doesn't care, necessarily, about giving minutes to the best players on the Lakers right now. |

We should've just kept Nwaba instead of signing KCP. |

What was I watching against the Clips? No defensive continuity. Terrible communication after ball rotation out of double teams. I thought defense was the coaching priority? _________________ Darvin |
