layup, dunk, or 2 foot shot is easier

There's no hand in your face at the freethrow line.

They tend to play to the level of their competition.

To be fair, we are down Ball, KCP and Lopez...3/5 of our starting lineup, we are already talent deficient, I’m not sure that you can keep a decent lineup on the floor 48 minutes with our lack of depth right now.

We played hard, we aren’t good enough...not enough shooting, not enough size inside protect the basket and secure rebounds. I’m not even mad at this point, I see the effort...we just don’t have the horses right now.

I liked Hart’s play tonight and BI hitting those two FTs showed some stones, beyond that...not much to take from the game. We really never win games when Randle plays well, it’s weird...not knocking the dude cuz he was really good tonight, but if he has a productive night it seems like we don’t win.

This isn't true.....

Oh well, still have high hopes for the team unless Lonzo has a severe injury.

Glad someone understands his value..

does he usually give us 20-4-11 like our PG did tonight? This team played for 4 Quarters better than they play with Lonzo on a normal night

Ennis has the game of his life and suddenly Lonzo is no longer needed... got you

This is true... DeAndre Jordan's FG% within 3 feet is 71%

FT's are basically the difference...I'm not sure how many games they have cost us, but I would get 6-8, at the very least.

Jordan is a 7 foot center. Hart's a shooting guard his freethrow % should be 80+.

I'm agreeing with your point... DeAndre who has one of the highest FG% only shoots 71% from close... Good FT shooters are all over 80%

To be fair tho a lot of these young players and rookies around the league are shooting terribly from the freethrow line. I just don't get it.

Don't you dare talk about the savior like that. It's obvious we play way better with him even though we were on a losing streak before he got hurt .

First one is not a foul...
Second one is so obvious, it's ridiculous, but hey, he's Chris Paul !

Last time I checked Lonzo leads the team in rebounds and assists so yes, he is looking like a savior to me.

So what’s so special about CP3s defense? There is a reason he’s never gonna win a ring.

Kobe Bryant career 83% freethrow shooter. Those were the good days.

I remember he had some crazy stretch of 70 freethrows straight without a miss or something like that.

He scored 20 or more points three times including tonight in the last 15 games, we lost all of those. In the 3 games we won this month he scored 4/12/16 points and had a game score of 9.7/1.9/10.8. In our losses he exceed a game score of 10.8 7 times. It’s true, noticed it last season and pointed it out as well.

He's also played well in many of the games that we've won.

Also, this is a losing team, so there have been a few guys who have really good games during losses, because this team usually loses no matter how well one guy is playing.

My kids came in to watch that second play and they were cracking up, headbutting each others chests in imitation. Of course CP3 also pushed, but can you get a push off offensive foul for using your head?
