This is actually a real possibility and one of the reasons why the FO might become trigger trade happy to send a lot of these guys off before the TD, no way these guys should be here if they are trying to sabotage the team cause of there feelings... something is gonna happen soon and it's gonna be big hopefully. |
That theory might explain Clarkson or Randle having a bad game... but then why wouldn't Ingram, Nance, Hart... or some of the so called untouchables not play well? This was just a bad game any way you look at it. |
Why would these guys have a good game?
Ingram is as bad today as he was as a rookie.
The other 2 you mention are fodder players with small to no real value.
Truth is, taking a few stretches from Kuzma and those last 4 games of Lonzo, everyone in this squad is (bleep).
Not counting Randle cause he isn't even considered a Lakers player at the moment. |
Ingram has exposed the fact that without others to make openings for him, he cannot create... I still think he can be a good player, but he really struggles without a lot of help, at least at this stage in his career. Hart I think will be a nice player, but they didn't really play him too much today. I like Kuzma but he did nothing on defense or the boards today. I'm losing faith in Nance because he lacks swagger and confidence, and if he doesn't get it soon, I think he'll never have it. |

Trading is part of the business. All players should expect it at all times so that shouldn't be an excuse. I hope Lonzo comes back soon because we suck ball. |

Said he'd have to review the film to really get a grasp on the game.

Thank you. This ain’t sho-friends... produce, get better, and maybe you put yourself in a position to not have to worry about being traded. Soft as this delicious Tommy burger I’m bout to destroy.
The effort was missing team wide tonight. OKC ate our lunch, flipped us the bird, and peeled out with our girl. Something died at LA Live tonight. It starts with a P and ends with a ride. _________________ DEAR BASKETBALL

Luke: yeah, so the team has collectively decided, it seems, that they don’t wanna play for the man without a plan or a clue as to where the plan might be hiding. Also someone took a warm deuce on my office desk... and wrote moron on my windshield. With a permanent marker no less. |

That 8 minutes ranks up there as one of the greatest performances in NBA history. We need to petition the NBA for 2 minute quarters. |

Randle should be embarrassed for himself. Held a team meeting, obviously made a stink about PT and gets the starting job and the team starts giving up 120+ points a game? Are we just going to continue to start him to make a point he sucks? We get it....he has no clue how to play team defense, he doesn’t understand the offense and can’t shoot. Point made luke, pull the plug on him please.
Lonzo
Hart
BI
Kuzma
Brook
All should get 36 min a game from this point on. Ennis, Blue, Brewer, Larry and Bogut can each have 12....and just cut bait on KCP/JC/JR immediately, dump them for anything that doens’t Involve salary next year.
We aren’t winning anyway this season, so let’s get serious about rewarding players like Hart who try hard, every possession and don’t act or play stupid. |

You do realize the team does even worse when Randle sits? _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

The bright side was the whoopin. No one stepped up in a leader position, showing that we need the two max plan. No one drove the lane consistently and said this is my team. No ball rotation. No movement, no defense, no rhythm, no coaching at the end, no team huddles, no communication.
The bright side was exposure.
Magic should call a mandatory practice where all the watch is this years Celtics the entire time. The ones that get pissed and motivated are the ones you keep next year. _________________ DEAR BASKETBALL

Just for reference, LA was -8 in Randle’s 21 minutes and -29 in the 27 minutes he was out tonight. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel |

Are you implying maybe we should move one of Ingram/Kuzma or both? |
