For a chance to draft any one of:
- DeAndre Ayton
- Luka Doncic
- Marvin Bagley III
- Michael Porter Jr.
- Trae Young
Hypothetically of course. _________________ Tacos |

I don't know enough about this draft class, so I don't know about Lonzo.
Ingram? In a heartbeat. |

How good or deep is the 2018 draft class compared to last years?
Just started watching highlights of Trae Young thanks to ESPN's coverage of him.
A freshman PG averaging 29.7 points, 10.7 assists, shooting like Steph Curry and breaking NCAA records as I type is really impressive. Then I look onto the mock drafts and see he's only ranked 6th!
If he was in 2017, where would he rank? _________________

Honestly, the last thing this team needs is more 19 year olds. We need to develop what we have instead of spinning the wheels endlessly. |

Probably 1st, above Fultz for sure. His team is also 12-1 right now so that helps his draft stock because it shows he's a winner and not just a stats stuffer. _________________ Tacos |

As a reality check, I am going to pick a couple of draft classes a few backs at random. Here are the top 5 picks from 12 and 13:
Anthony Bennett
Victor Oladipo
Otto Porter
Cody Zeller
Alex Len
Anthony Davis
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Bradley Beal
Dion Waters
Thomas Robinson
Out of the 10, one superstar; one guy who looks he might be an all-star; a few decent rotation players and some busts.
I don't know if Ball will be a superstar, but he'll probably be better than the average top 5 pick. Ingram is a question mark to me; but like a lot of guys, if he does become something it will take a few years. |

In that case.... probably. But let me go watch some of the higher picks like Doncic aka "Euro LeBron". If he can be anything like Ben Simmons then I would be tempted to hypotheticaly trade into this draft. _________________

Adding Doncic, Ayton, or Young to Lonzo and Kuzma would be pretty sweet.

in a heartbeat for the 1st three guys. I would need to ensure Porter checked out medically....and I still have not fully concluded on what I think Trae Young will be as a pro (although he is an amazing college player). I am not sure how anyone says no to the top 3 guys....all of them project to be higher level players than Lonzo did in the draft or does as a rookie. They all clearly have franchise player potential.
The 2017 class was deep....likely much deeper than this class through the 1st round.....but the 2018 class is stronger at the top...especially those top 3 picks. |

including the 2013 draft....I am having doubts about the randomness of your selection.....everyone knew the 2013 draft was weak by 2012. |

Doncic and Simmons in the same draft?
Simmons has more size to rebound and is likely better with the fancy passes, but Doncic for most of the other categories.
I would go with Doncic over Simmons. |

Pick any two years you like. I just went back 4 and 5 years without remembering who was picked.
The main point is a top 5 pick isn't the sure thing people sometimes think. |

Same.
I'd trade Ingram for Ayton, Don, Bagley.
All I know is I don't want the Celtics to get any of those players. _________________ |

By those logics, are you saying Ingram right now is a "sure thing"? _________________ Tacos |

So has the LG crew finally given up on Ingram despite the fact that he’s not healthy right now and is dealing with a injury that usually slows down players? |
