Yes, that's moronic. Stop repeating it lest everyone think you're a moron.

There is some comparison.

Lakers late picks have all started really good and then stalled. Well see how Kuz develops.

People forget how good JC looked his first year

It means who is matched up to defend who.

Yes, people overhype the immeasurable “Lonzo effect”

But Lonzo seemed matched up with MKG most of the time. Thought he looked good for not being 100% on his first night back.

he didn't look any better or worse than the rest of the roster....that has been my point all season...he has good games and bad games....just like everyone else....but production wise....there has been little to nothing to suggest we are better or worse with him on the court.

Our player development team leaves a lot to be desired that's for sure.

Everyone looks good when they're hitting shots.
Not so good when you don't. Especially if you're not doing other little things.

Hopefully both guys come back strong the next game.

we can spend as much as we are willing on staff....the FO should bring in the best in the business to support Luke next season....without much input from Luke on who is hired....best trainers, development guys, shooting coaches, defensive coaches, etc.

Kuzma at this point is a good scorer who has shown flashes of other things. Also outperforms his draft position. He also shows a tendancy to chuck at times and slack at d at times.

How he develops is key. Our player development has been bad.

RECAP:

Quote:
The Lakers are the NBA's worst 3-point shooting team, and they went 9 for 36 against the Hornets.

At least they improved the NBA's worst free-throw shooting percentage by going 9 for 12.

Assist tonight - 23

the (bleep) never gets old

I agree that everyone overhypes Lonzo but he did have a stabilizing effect on the team. Kuzma, Clarkson, KCP offered nothing on offense... only so much he can do in that situation.

sorry....I didn't see it....we were terrible on both sides of the ball when Lonzo was in the game....Walker got by him at will....

They rarely matched up at all, and Walker didn't get by him on at least three possessions I watched. I thought Ball actually did a much more credible job on Walker defensively than KCP (but in fewer possessions, admittedly).

don't do that....he was matched up on him a large part of the game....same thing was happening when he was matched up against Lamb

KCP was Kemba's primary defender until KCP got benched for sucking. Did you not see Ball matched up on MKG?

JC doesn't hit threes, doesn't really get to the line, likes to pound the ball, and takes a lot of unassisted long pull-up twos.

Kuzma's a scorer, but his style of scoring is completely, totally different from JC's, which makes him a more efficient scorer and useful player overall.
