I am thinking ban him from the Staples Center for Laker games.

If that doesn’t work, Lakers have to consider trading Lonzo.

Not up to the Lakers. It is up to Lonzo.

He needs to be mature enough to thank his dad for all the support to get him to the Pros. Now it is time to shut the hell up and let him have his career.

Banning Lavar or any other extreme measure just makes this situation even worse. Certainly don't trade Lonzo because of his dad's comments.

Time to grow up and tell his dad enough is enough. This is a family matter. And should be dealt with as such.

Surround his son with a better team?

You surround a generational playmaker with brick layers. He's not saying anything LG isn't saying. I rather have those thoughts out there in the universe because god knows our media is too afraid to step on anyones toes. NYC media would have called out Luke Walton too.

Trade Lonzo along with Deng and kill 2 birds with one stone.

What if his Dad's comments are creating a distraction for the team and impacting the desire of stars to join the Lakers?

How about not be snowflakes and stop worrying about what anyone outside of the organization says, if I was a pro player or coach I could care less what anyone outside of my locker room has to say, this is only an issue if the Lakers organization make it one. Im a family member of a Pro HOF player, I spent 18 years in Locker rooms and family member areas after games with other family members who said much worse than Lavar Ball, the only difference is this social media click bait society creates articles out of it. I know I personally have been frustrated with some coaching in my families career and if I WAS quoted it would have been the same. Lavar Ball is only an issue because we cry over every thing he says and ESPN is milking his comments daily. Just ignore it and move on. SIMPLE.

At the end of the day there's nothing anybody can do. Lavar is a grown man and he doesn't work for the Lakers. He can say anything he wants. Even Lonzo can't do anything about it.

It's honestly up to the media to stop sticking cameras in his face all the damn time and acting like everything he says is newsworthy. Lavar isn't the first parent to complain about an NBA coach, he's also not the first to take shots at other NBA players and hype up his kid, he's just the only one media outlets have made it a point to constantly cover.

From the ESPN article:

One Lakers player said the situation has become a distraction for the team at times. But his frustration was directed mostly at the media for fueling the hype around it, and he was annoyed that Walton, whom he strongly supports, had been dragged into the toxicity.

Fascinating times we live in; where a pro athlete's father from across the world sends shockwaves in the NBA sports world in a matter of seconds.

I am not sure there is any real resolve to "shutting Lavar up", he has as much power as those who will listen to him (media outlets, espn, and even us clicking it)

Only can control what you can control if you are the Lakers; putting the best brand out to win Bball games. Go Lakers and much success to Zo in that process.

Seriously. He's just another dad complaining from the sidelines. Just tune him out and ignore him.. it really isn't that difficult. Because IMO anyone who can't tune him out doesn't truly want to.

Really is. And, banning him, as was proposed above, doesn't shut him up anyway.

The Lakers should start a campaign to stop fans from posting multiple, redundant threads about Lavar on LG.

What was the distraction that caused them 9 straight defeats before LaVar's comments? They care for Luke so much even Kuzma called out the team for not giving enough effort against OKC. Maybe the said player is part time prisoner KCP who's treated like a superstar by FO and Luke.
