no kidding - 2nd down and 50 yards to go - umbrella defense should’ve been the defensive call

No I had Alabama -4 and honestly I had a bad feeling when I made the bet about that extra point.

Indeed. Just a great game. I was very impressed by Georgia; I didn't think they were as good as they obviously are. And you really have to give it up to Saban for making the switch at QB earlier than most coaches probably would have. Of course, the QB himself deserves the most credit, but there's a reason why Saban is such a fantastic football coach. That took a lot of cajones to do.

This is 3 unbelievable national title games in a row, all with Alabama.

Just goes to show you that if you got the opportunity to bury Alabama you gotta do it.....Georgia kept letting opportunities slip away and kept Alabama in the game despite their 1st half QB troubles.

Probably has a correlation with the fact that college bowl game ratings were up across the board.

the defense looked gassed in the second half, i mean you dont blow a lead like that and blow coverage after sacking the guy 20 yards back.

It is weird to see a LSU team that can't defend for the 2nd year in a row. UCLA looked solid.

Weirdest opening week in college football that I can recall. It appears that Alabama's defense may be unbeatable.
