His set of skills (hustle, defense, rebounds, decent offensive game)along with his cheap contract make him almost untouchable unless we re talking about the last piece of a great trade. Literally all other teams try to find the larry nances of this world |

He's a championship type player. In a smallish role as a backup 4 playing 15-20 min, but the kind of guy who championship teams want. Not surprised the C's apparently tried to trade for him this summer. |

just imagive what a functional team like boston can do with larry. stevens takes out everything from his players, he made iseah look like mvp, an immature brown look like veteran, rozier, tatum, baynes, even olynyk looks like a great player in miami |

I would not trade Larry Nance unless it was part of an absolutely amazing, franchise changing deal.
The fans love him, his teammates love him, and what he does on the court is more valuable than what shows up in the stats.
I know he's young, but he's one of those guys who's perfect to complement stars on a championship team...kind of like Rick Fox, Robert Horry, etc. |

I love that we're finally throwing lobs for him this season. Only took three years... |

Definitely an asset with his all around hustle and play. If he ever develops a decent shot he will be invaluable. That dunk last night was epic! |

There is a reason why other teams valued him more than the rest of our players last year. |

These type of players are kind of rare not a star but flat out give 100% every play I think whats under appreciated with Larry is his IQ he is smart He knows his limitations and gets the most out of his ability. |

I don't think the Nets take on Mozgov's contract and trade a late 1st for Larry. |

I'm glad Luke is giving him time at C (even if it's been messy at times). He needs to be able to play some decent/good spot minutes there for him to be a part of our future, IMO, with Kuzma looking so good. We need to see him a lot more there throughout this season and see how he does. Last night was encouraging.
Hope he develops a jump shot/3 point shot he can feel comfortable with sometime soon, tho. |

The weakside block on Pau was awesome (and painful, as well), and it highlights how a guy with hops, a 7'2 wingspan, and a high BBIQ should be a much better rim protector than Larry actually is. I assume three years in at age 25 with a career block rate of ~2% that Larry isn't going to morph into a shotblocker - my guess is that that'd be unprecedented in NBA history - but that would really change his trajectory as a backup center. |

That is likely why Nance is being shopped, the sweetener to help us dump another player and/ or acquire a first round pick. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions! |

Every winning team needs players like Larry Nance and Josh Hart. They take care of all the little things so the stars can do their thing.
If Nance could get a reliable jump shot... _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

Love his hustle and bball IQ. Dude has a limited role and skillset but he does it efficiently.
Is it too late for Nance to develop a 3pt shot and some ball handling? |

3pt? I think he can.
Handle? I don't think so. |

Nance's name is out there, but unless it's a huge, beneficial deal for us, I don't see the Lakers moving him. He checks a lot of boxes for us, especially when we become contenders again.
Plus Magic & Pelinka seem to want to construct this all Light-skinned team and Larry fits that narrative. 😂 |

Nance a very Jekyll/Hyde type player game to game. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |
