3. Jayson Tatum - 14 PPG / 6 RPG / 1 APG - PER - 16.68 in 31.4 MPG
4. Kyle Kuzma - 17 PPG / 6 RPG / 2 APG - PER - 14.92 in 31.1 MPG
5. Lauri Markkanen - 15 PPG / 8 RPG / 1 APG - PER - 15.72 in 30.2 MPG

can't figure out which three only score.....

I see many fans of other teams saying we should have taken Tatum. But his assists per game is pretty meh especially considering he plays for one of the best teams in the league. I think Tatum has better BB IQ than become a tunnel visioned guy like Wiggins in coming years, but yea that's an area he needs to improve a lot. If Lonzo can become an above average shooter which I think he will and the signs are good in the last 15 odd games, it's not close with anyone in this draft.

To me Tatum appears to be on a Kawhi/George trajectory offensively, and the question will be where will he eventually fall on the continuum between the two when it comes to shot efficiency. Like George and Leonard, I see Tatum becoming only an adequate distributor, so his effectiveness as a primary option will come disproportionately from his shot-making: is he still a .600 TS% guy as his usage goes up? PG13 level defense with Kawhi level offense and he'll be a top-10 guy at least.

I think Ball has the higher ceiling because his passing skills and court awareness are so outlier, but he has more work to do to mitigate his weaknesses than Tatum to approach that (higher) ceiling.

I've been hoping for a thread like this. It's a very exciting rookie class

There are enough good rookies for three normal draft classes! Heck, Furkan Korkmaz was one of my favorite players in last year's draft, Bogdan Bogdanovic is coming off of leading his team to the Euroleague Championship game, and even Zhou Qi will get some occasional burn - there are almost too many intriguing storylines to follow.

Are there any holes to Bogdan Bogdanovic's game?

Time honored tradition for Philly lottery rookies to break something. With Fultz, it just happened to be his shot.

Just about the strangest damn thing I've ever seen in the NBA, that's all.

He's never going to be a plus defender, but he's smart on that end and his offensive game is so pretty: .600 TS% and a 1.5:1 ATR as a SG who can run PnR.

Imagine him out there with Lonzo

Boston goes from a top 3 offense to bottom 5 without him on the floor.

start off discussing the Fultz situation....then Ball & Kuzma....also spent time on Markkanen, Taytum, Mitchell and Simmons. Thought they were pretty positive on everyone...just honest analysis from their perspective about each player. My link starts off @ that segment....but the initial part of episode discusses the Ball Bothers in Lithuania with former International NBA scout.

Danke, I didn't see the time stamp you provided originally. I was hit with Ball brothers in Latvia to start the pod and I checked out on a Saturday night lol.

Thanks again.
