Good lesson for the ref whiners in the first and second quarters.

Oh, we must be watching different games, I though the lesson for this game is whiners who don't think luke gets any credit for a win streak generally. Know. Nothing. About. Basketball.

You know nothing about basketball? I don’t know that I would agree with that.

We have played some of the worst teams in the league, mostly at home, and against one team that was severely depleted. The OP I was replying to said Luke deserves “a lot” of credit for beating these teams. I don’t know that anyone really deserves “a lot” of credit for beating teams like the Hawks and Kings at home.

How impressed are you with what Luke has done these past 4 games? Out of 100?

Mavs had won 6 of their last 9 including against Toronto, @Indy, @Okc, @NO.
They've been playing well especially with their small lineup.

If anyone wants to kill Luke for a loss I'd expect the reverse for wins. But again that's with my logic. Not sure about others.

I'm on the side that blames players more and blames the coach a smaller portion. So when the team wins, I credit the players more and credit the coach a smaller portion.

That’s fine. I’m not complaining about the win.

The post I was replying to said that Luke deserves “a lot of credit” for this win streak. I don’t really align with that thinking, that it was some monumental feat or anything. So I just said no, he doesn’t deserve a lot of credit for these wins.

As for Dallas; I actually feel good about Rick Carlisle jumping to Luke's defense and attacking ESPN for crap journalism trying to stir the scandal pot any time they cover the Lakers. Basketball itself takes a back seat to sensationalism all too often when the Lakers are involved. That's a class move for Rick Carlisle to take a stand, and take ESPN to task on Luke's behalf. As a Laker fan I really appreciate it.

I also feel real good having just found out the Lakers won their fourth in a row. This should be a feel good thing for everyone.

Lakers shot 13 - 18 from the free throw line (72.2%). Decent but we still need improvement in that area. The 24 assists were up to par though.

Held Dallas to 37.8% shooting, 25.6% from 3, outrebounded Dallas by a big margin 59 to 39, and in spite of Randle's 7 TO's the team only had 14 which is an improvement too.

Hope Ingram's OK, great to see Kuzma, Randle and JC back to their A games.

First off Dallas is my second most hated NBA team (Celtics are and will always be my hated), no so much because of the players (I can't stand Dirk & Barrea), it's mostly because of Cuban!

So anytime the Lakers can beat them I am EXTRA happy!

Next observation is Dirk should retire, he is holding the Mav's back from moving on..

Great win, great defense!

Go Team...!

One streak ended; Dallas had beaten the Lakers 14 games in a row. Glad to get that behind us.

I’ve hated Dallas since the early 2000s.

Celtics
Jazz
Mavericks

3 teams I can’t stand. And mainly because of their racist fan bases.

Is Dallas racist?

City strikes me as a bunch of racist whites.

Wow.

That was really offensive and a racist statement in itself...not surprised, disappointed that we have to hear this on a lakers fan site though.

Well trump did win the vote there right?

Again more stereotyping, bullying and racism hidden behind politically correctness. So being a republican or voting for trump means you are a racist? I voted for trump...I’m not White European and my kids are mixed, I don’t have a racist bone in my body.

You should be embarrassed, that kind of stuff won’t fly here...this isn’t reddit or your college classroom.

Racist always try to down play racism like it doesn't exist. It's very much alive today. How many racist admit to it? Trump doesn't but whatever

Dude have since compassion.

Alex Flanagan @Alex_Flanagan 12m

#saints Rookie safety Marcus Williams fell to his knees on his way to locker room after his missed tackle cost saints the game and then inside the locker cried with his head in his hands.
