Might as well rest them all and try out the 2nd and 3rd string players. I really want to see Bryant get some time soon. |

Brandon and KCP Updates
Per Ohm
Lonzo Ball (knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Knicks. Brandon Ingram (ankle) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Achilles) are questionable to play. espn.com/espn/now?nowId…

I was hoping to find something more conclusive particularly about Brandon but it doesn’t look like that’s happening quite yet. |

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Brandon Ingram participated fully in Saturday’s practice and are questionable for Sunday. |

I know I have no basis for this claim, but I said if Zo doesn't play vs the Knicks, then the Lakers won't trot him out there to be embarrassed by Kyrie and the Celtics his first game back. Kylie makes everyone look stupid. He even dribbled circles around our whole team twice last time, Globetrotter style. |

Wrong thread?
So far nothing new on Brandon. About 50 mins ago Trudell was still saying he’s a gametime decision. It is now gametime basically so :¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

1/21/18 vs New York Knicks
Thank you Bill Oram
Per Lakers PR, Brandon Ingram is available to play today vs. New York. He was earlier considered a game-time decision.

So therefore
Lonzo - knee - OUT
KCP - Achilles- OUT
Brandon - Ankle - IN
Go Lakers!

Alrighty. So far I’m not seeing anything about anyone other than Lonzo. Hopefully it stays that way. Will check the Twitters and keep tabs closer to game time.

Per Access Sportsnet
Talking to Mike Trudell, BI says he is not 100% and it's probably making him a bit "less effective" but he is pushing through it.
Bres says Lonzo was initially expected to be out for 3 weeks. It's been 2 weeks and he's not going to practice tomorrow so he's likely out for Sunday in Toronto BUT he might try the next two practices to see if he can go on Wednesday in Orlando. |

I doubt Lonzo plays on this road trip. BI hasn't been playing well. He shouldn't play if he isn't 100%. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Per Tania G
A little more detail on Lonzo’s injury. It’s a minor MCL sprain, and those typically take 1-3 weeks. So he hasn’t had any new issues or setbacks. Isn’t testing it with lateral movement yet.

As expected (Per Trudell)
Luke Walton said Lonzo Ball won’t play tomorrow in Orlando. He continues to progress with rehab, but has yet to practice. Walton didn’t rule out that Ball “could” play on the current trip, but only if the knee progresses to that point. They won’t rush him back.
https://twitter.com/lakersreporter/status/958486578988552193
As Tania G tweeted, one wonders why they didn’t just say it was an MCL from the jump and just go from there. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |
