Because he literally got himself banned from his home country for speaking out against the repressive policies of Gollum look-alike and tinpot dictator Recep Tayipp Erdogan.

Also, he tried to kiss Trey Burke on the forehead a couple weeks ago and it was adorable.

I support him for his politics, which I feel like is independent from his personality, which I don't like because he's so petty to players like Lebron, Durant, and Booker among others. By the time he retires, he's going to feud with almost every player in the NBA

Devin Booker is a Teletubby and Enes can be a funny dude. Team Kanter on this one:

Lol I'm not the biggest fan of Booker either, but when I heard he was ejected for shoving Kanter, I remember that that Book called Kanter childish for flexing after OKC won against Cleveland last week.

personally or as a basketball player? I am not the biggest fan of his game...but I respect the stand and sacrifices he has made in his personal life to remain committed to his truth about issues in his native country.

I enjoy the petty little squabbles in the NBA so even if he can be obnoxious I like him from an entertainment value standpoint.
