No humorous beats in that teaser... something different for Marvel, but on par with T'Challa's no nonsense demeanor. Could we get some GOOD Marvel villains in this one? Serkis and MBJ are the main baddies in this one I think. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same."

IMDB credits show Man-Ape will be a character in this movie as well.
I was really surprised to see them release a TV promo so early. The movie isn't scheduled for release until next year. Maybe all the Wonder Woman hype is getting MCU's attention. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant

Ever since RDJ first appeared as Tony Stark/Iron Man, I don't think I've been as convinced an actor was as perfect to play a superhero character as Chadwick Boseman is to play this role.
I know I"ll eventually get burnt out on the superhero genre just as I did with the zombie apocalypse genre but 2018 is going to be an exciting year for MCU with Panther, Infinity War, and Ant-Man & the Wasp.
It might be the last one as the the 2019 slate will be Captain Marvel, Millennial Spider-Man sequel, and possibly end of the current Avengers. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant
While I don't always trust reviews, Marvel films have failed to disappoint, even the lesser ones are at least entertaining (unlike DC's Parade of Fail).
While they weren't bad, I will admit I was disappointed and underwhelmed by both Spider-Man Homecoming and Thor: Ragnorak. Here's hoping they can go 3 for 3 this year with BP, IF and AM&W.

For some reason, I didn't watch any of the 2017 Marvel movies in the theater. Instead, I opted to Redbox them and it really brought down the hype for me (which is my fault). The last movie I watched on the big screen was Dr. Strange which I felt was just okay.
GOTG was mixed for me. Kurt Russell was excellent and the ending was terrific (if you remove the stupid pacman scene). Everything before the twist with Starlord's mom was kinda boring tbh.
I love Spider-man, and I've seen every movie of his in the theaters. Homecoming was the exception. I liked it, but it could've been so much better. I liked that his classmates were more involved in the plot, but I wish they used the more popular characters rather than implementing original or obscure characters like Michelle and Ned. Also, I did not care for the coincidental twist. I wish Keaton was a different villain. Aunt May was a surprise.
I've yet to see Thor Ragnorak, but it looks good. I've got to see it before BP.
Previews look great! Def looks like its a must watch at theatre type action film. Bit tired of this comic book / sequel trend but this film looks promising. _________________ Alltime lineup: Magic | Kobe | MJ | Hakeem | KAJ
After seeing Star Wars i have zero faith in critics reviews. Some of the taglines i'm seeing with this movie make me laugh. Im sure it will be a good movie and im excited to see how they lead into Infinity Wars. But one of the clips ive seen already has me asking questions. Why doea it look like fight is at night but it keeps switching to day shots in the middle. Hopefully movie explains. Anywho expecting a 7.5 hoping for an 8.
I never read the Black Panther Comics so I don't know much about him.
Does he have any meta human powers or is he basically a high level athlete warrior with an enhanced vibranium suit?
I don't follow the comic closely either but from what I've read, his country has superior tech and superior resources (vibranium). This is what allows him to be superhuman.
he eats a wakandan root and wakandan magic that makes him super human
-He's above peak human condition, super soldier level
- Heightened senses
-infrared vision
- mild regenerative abiltiies
- due to the root he eats, he has access to all previous Black Panthers memories, gained their knowledge and skills (like Avatar the last airbender on drugs)
- an has a strange ability to command the dead
His suit got a lot powers . stores and emits kinetic energy.
Faster than human, stronger than human (He's done power stunts up to the 5 ton range), faster healing, can see in the dark/heightened smell/hearing, heals faster than normal, super durable, super agile, super stamina. And he has all the knowledge of every previous Black Panther.
among the 8 or 9 smartest people on the planet in the Marvel Universe
has cloaking (like Predator) abiltiies but that's his suit that provides that
My friend is telling me he preferred Blankman and Undercover Brother over Black Panther. _________________ "I got a hand that'll rock ya cradle, cream ya like cheese, spread ya on my bagel." - Shaq, 1992.
