I know a lot of Lakers' fans always thought of Porzingis as someone to root against because of the draft connection to Dlo, but man, this sucks and I can't help but feel like (bleep) for him and the Knicks organization/fans. He seems like a great kid, and this could very well be a career destroyer for a 7'3" guy that was already injury prone and had trouble playing big minutes (though to be fair, was way overworked this year).
Naw. Torn ACLs not as serious as they used to be. Wouldn't surprise me if he's back by the start of next season.
It's the Achilles tears like Boogie's that are scary.
Patellar tendons are also really hard to come back well from. But we've never seen a 7'3 guy have to recover from an acl. He's got super long levers/legs, looked to be a factor on that landing, there was no stability to his long ass leg

Poor Zingis. Hate to see anyone go down like that. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel
