Without the crazy hot Lou Wil act, they aren’t very good. He has cooled down a bit...

Sounds like us last season. On a similar note...

The league should suspend him. It's one thing to yell at officials, but actual aggression in the form of throwing something at them is completely unacceptable IMO. I thought the same thing when Curry threw his mouthpiece at the ref. Should have gotten a game for that.

This is awesome.

Way to make up for the 9 game losing streak.

6 games out of a playoff seed, but who's counting?

Aspiring to .500 ball isn't sounding as far-fetched as it did a couple weeks ago. It actually sounds like a step down now.

But even still, going 17-17 from here to the end of the season would get us 36 wins. And a reputation as a team on the rise. Keep it up Lakers!

No doubt, this would be a great accomplishment. It’s finally clicking for them on how to win games.

There really aren’t that many teams better than them and I have felt that way for a while now, even before 8-2 stretch. That’s why the losing 9 in a row was frustrating.

Like you said, 17-17 seems low. They really are better than that imo.

After the OKC win
Lakers #11 in the West, 21-31, .404 with 30 games left. 3 games behind Utah

.404 record projected to the end of the year works out to 33 wins.

We also have the 9th worst record now - lowering the potential value of our traded pick.

The Lakers are a completely different team from the beginning of the season.
The reason? Starting Lopez and Randle together.
With Ingram.
KCP and Hart complement.
Would bring Lonzo in slowly from the bench with Kuzma.
And Clarkson, Brewer etc.

Wonder why it took so long for Walton to figure it out.
If season started now Lakers would be in playoffs.

One superstar and one shooter and the playoffs are here.
Don't give up any assets by the way.

What’s insane is 10-4 with a subpar shooting team that can’t make free throws. Imagine how scary they would be with just average 3 point shooting.

We are playing better, but we are also playing a much easier schedule than when we went on the 9 game loss (yes, I know we've had some good wins, like OKC, Boston) but during the losing streak we had GSW twice I believe, Rockets, Cavs when they were playing well, the rest of our schedule looks middle ground so we should be in good shape for 30 + wins and really anything over 30 is a win for the Lakers, especially when you factor how much we relied on young players and players new to the team

If we could do that the next 15 games as well, we'd be closing in on that .500 mark.

Disclaimer from Mr. Grumpy Gills: that's a big 'if' tho..

Those win predictions in the mid-30's are starting to look a lot more realistic than they did a month ago!!

Just did not want to start a new Thread.

But if the season starts today, how do you see our lineup from now on.

I would like to stick with
Zo, Hart, BI, Randle, Brooks

then

IT, KCP, Brewer, Kuz, Frye

wish we actually play Deng again cause as a big men he played really well.

Ennis need to cut
