Not giving philly the 2019 pick while also giving philly a 2018 pick in the teens would be amazing.

Reduces greatly the chance they get a gem in the draft. I'm all for it!

Huh? The Lakers don't owe a 2019 pick to anybody, they own it.

If it lands 2-5, it goes to Boston in 2018 (this season), otherwise 1 or 6-30 goes to Philly.

Philly would have gotten the 2019 pick, if we didn't land top 3 in the 2017 draft. Lucky we did and we got ball plus getting out of giving philly the 2019 pick.

Oh, I think the Magic were gonna get the 2019 pick, instead it conveyed to two second rounders. Completely escaped my mind, but you're right, I had forgotten how critical it was that it landed top 3 last season.

Good night for us the Knicks the Grizzlies and the Nets all lost. We are now only a half game behind the Knicks and if we win tonight we will be ahead of them by percentage points.

We kind of need an anti-tank emoticon.

Maybe like a tank going in reverse!

Krispy Porky might be out for the season. Gotta get past the Bobcats to get out of the bottom 10.

This

Don’t understand tanking. Never have never will. At the same time, I don’t like the get-rich-quick schemes (ie dump good young players to Free cap space for potential prospects). I truly hope we retain Randle. I still think he has 20-10 potential.

My thoughts exactly.

Knicks are done. Shame about Porky, but we should be putting distance on them pretty soon.

If you think the Lakers are a mess, just take a look at the Knicks.

I guess I'll be rooting for the Queens next season. I don't want either Boston or Philly getting a top 5 pick with the rosters they already have.

Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony are both questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Lakers with ankle sprains.

So they left Paul George hanging for this one, eh?

Jazz keep winning but we are only 3 games behind them in the loss column. Good news is Brooklyn and Memphis lost. And tonight the Spurs should beat the Suns.

Yeah, sad what Phil Jax did to them. Outside of Porky, their cupboard is pretty bare.

Today's Tank Watch:

Knicks at Raptors (Lakers 1 win behind NY)
Wiz at Celts (Wiz 1 loss behind CLE)
Cha at Portland (Lakers 2 wins behind)

Not counting ATL, ORL, DAL, CHI, and SAC, they're pretty much locked to fall behind the lakers at this point. *fingers crossed

Lakers definitely got worse in the short term though, after all these trades today. Hope it doesn't affect the team TOO much, still hoping for a 10th or 11th pick to Philly.

EDIT: oh snap i was wrong about Charlotte, they were only 1 win ahead of LA before tonight, and now they're tied. Niiice.

Knicks lost and it looks like Hornets are going to lose. If we win tonight we will be tied with the Hornets for 10th worst record in the league.
