With this package we might be able to trade for Davis' left leg

He’s basically Raja Bell 2.0, which would be a great return on a late first round pick.

Right now he looks like he may be at least Raja Bell. Right now he is a better rebounder. He has been lights out recently now that he has been given a chance.

More physical than Bell, a little less lateral quickness and on-ball D but not a bad comparison.

So will everyone else when Luke stops messing with his minutes and role.

He would be a 20 and 10 guy this season if he didn’t start the season on the bench and he wasn’t only avg 24 minutes a game.

I’m willing to bet that if he gets 34 minutes a game next season people will say that it’s a breakout season. Imo this is his breakout year...I just get the feeling that the lakers are hiding him for some reason.

Love this kid. Lou was a high price to pay for him but given where we are as a franchise, having a clear rotation player like Hart on his cheap deal for years is a game changer.

Lou always gave up more than he scored. The opposite is true with Hart.

The key is his defense. That’s what puts him over the top. I think we should try trade KCP for pics and whoever expiring. Then start him with ball. Hart would be in the rookie game had he played more early in the year. Another steal.

Uhm. The feelings that name brings.
I'd rather never think about that dude ever again.

Exactly. Look folks, our backcourt combinations last 2 seasons were getting torched repeatedly. So it's not a surprise when you replace the turnstiles who were here in years past with Hart, Lonzo and KCP that things are different. I was never a fan of Lou's game.

He seems to have an ability to get to the line. Add that to all the good things he does.

Raja Bell couldn't pass, rebound, or finish like that either. Forget the rookie part. Near prime.

There's a reason why Raja entered the league at 24.

Agree, comparing Hart to these career role players sells his potential short. He's really a guy who knows and excels at his role, yet still shows flashes of the skillset of a primary option.

I wouldn't say "high price", players like Lou Williams and Jamal Crawfords are the kind of players who almost NEVER produce winning basketball...

Dude, I get that, but Lou was a near all star this year and has almost kept the Clips afloat.

I was for the trade and am happy we got Hart. But Lou was one of the actual great signings for the Lakers at 7m/year.
