Interesting. How much more cap room would we need to get PG13 and Lebron on this team, without jettisoning Randle? Not that I think Lebron and this team are a perfect fit, but just wondering. |

after seeing PG13 vs gsw I’m confident that a PG-13 and LBJ team along with kuzma, ball and ingram (hopefully randle too) can beat them. |

Screw Lebron and his petty passive aggressive ass. If he can create this much drama in Cleveland just wait until he has the #2 media market as his puppet. Wouldn't be surprised if he got Luke fired for Tyronn Lue. |

Even if PG13 joins him here, why would Lebron at age 33-34 come to a team like the Lakers where he'll have to wait for the rest of the team to grow up enough to give him enough help to actually win a championship? Role players are extremely important. Shaq and Kobe didn't win jack squat until we stacked their supporting cast with salty vets like Horry, Fox, Harper, Shaw and A.C. Green. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

I don't know if Lebron comes here but I'm finally convinced Cleveland's losing him for the second time.
Wade bailing out (or being dumped) was the final nail in the coffin.
Just crazy to lose a generational player twice.
I feel bad for JC and LNJ. Luke can tell them stories about what it's like in post-Lebron Cleveland. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

Either (a) Randle takes the qualifying offer; (b) George opts in as part of a trade to us; (c) one or both of George/Lebron take less than the max; or (d) we trade Deng without getting any salary back.
I think if Randle is worth it to us, we could package Deng to a team like Indiana with some draft picks now that we have the Cleveland pick. Honestly, I'd rather give up Cleveland's 2018 1st rounder and our 2020 1st rounder than lose Randle, and it may not even take that... could be one 1st round pick plus some 2nd round picks. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

Dallas has let everyone know they'll absorb bad contracts in exchange for draft pick(s) - Indy too. That was the first thought that crossed my mind when I learned we had acquired the Cavs pick. Cavs are still going to make the playoffs, so that'll probably be a early to mid-20's pick - so, I'd rather hold on to our 2019 pick. Would Dallas take that Cav's pick and a 2nd (or 2) to take Deng _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

The thing I'm not sure about is if some team makes Randall a huge offer a minute after the free agency deadline starts, does that erase the cap hold member and make whatever his contract offer is count against cap? |

Just do whatever it takes to keep randle, and bring bron and pg13. Gotta keep that youth rolling past bron’s inevitable decline. |

I think JC was being passive aggressive with that stuff. He was salty because Zo is the future and he knew he was good as gone. Some of the nonsense answers, JC, gave to reporters this year made me suspect he is a douche. |

What would that team do if they had to play Philly for the championship? Could we get away with double teaming him most of the time? _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers |

No, but you still only have three days to match the offer after he signs the offer sheet. The thing is though, if the Lakers are working with him, they could just tell him they will match to give them more time to get whatever they need done. Depends on the relationship they have with Randle. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service
