I want to say LBJ but IT was 29ppg 6apg and he needs tbe ball less we just seen him fit with the guys without practice. But then there's the defensive potential of LeBron.

Let's see, we would want to keep a guy that makes no effort to guard but can score.vs LeBron still one of the best players in the league; tough one LOL!

I dislike LeBron but this not even close, IT? Really?

I might go with option C, none of the above (at their market rates).

Personally, neither. Really only care about George coming next season. But if one of these two are here, don't think Luke can build a successful defensive unit with IT getting major minutes and Lebron will get Luke ran out of here within 1.5 seasons or less.

IT or LBJ or Luke???

It's OK to want. I think even if he returns to form he still will probably have to take a one year prove it deal.

My only worry with Lebron is he may not allow Luke to keep coaching the fast pace offense and may turn BI into a spot up shooter. IT doesn't present that problem neither does PG. IT showed me last night that might be the best way to use him after his injury.

Isaiah Thomas USG% during his best year with Boston is higher than ANY LBJ season...

Kuzma is a similar player to Brian Cook.
Lavar Ball is responsible of Lakers late improvement
Who would you choose between one of the GOAT and a midget who had 1 great offensive season in his career ?

That would be funny quotes if people who said it were not serious when they say it...

If the question was who would you rather see win a title here I would pick IT.

Ever since he came into the NBA he has been fun to watch I've never seen a guy his size destroy people and take over games. He has a chip on his shoulder kinda like Randle and that rubs some people the wrong way but there is no way a 5 foot guy is get this far without one.

With LBJ I have disliked him for 15 years and now watching him rot away on a bad Cavs team feels like a fitting end to his career but;

Ultimately I want the Lakers to win at all cost so I welcome LBJ and would cheer my Lakers to win like any other year

Haven’t we learned are lesson from the Peyton, Malone, Nash etc signings.
Very skeptical about going all in for an aging LaBron. Might be better to consider signing IT to a smaller shorter contract if we can get him on the cheap. Sign PG 13 to A Max and maybe wait till next summer to add another superstar ala Thompson, Kawhi, etc ...We also need a defensive big for those teams that don’t play small. iT may be agreeable o this in hopes of getting a bigger contract next year, has something to prove.
We have a very nice core of young ones, would hate to stunt that growth. May have the likes of the Warriors in the making. We should be looking for longevity not playoffs for a year or two.

We don’t have to have it all now...patience is a Virtue.

The one good thing I see about Lebron is that historically he prefers short 2 year contracts to preserve his independence.

Preference might change now that he is getting older. But if history repeats itself the end of a 2 year deal is 2020 and I think there are some exciting free agents then, including Davis. Lakers can Reload on the fly.

Agreed , his preference may change...not in his best interest at this point to go for a shorter deal .

Signing LeBron is absolutely not a problem, the only thing is for Magic and Pelinka to let him know that we won't destroy the team and trade all of our young guns to but vets who are only good at shooting from distance. If not than I'm sure Magic won't sign him. But I'm also confident Lebron may like what he sees in Lonzo, BI and Kuz. I mean, what young and promising players did LeBron asked to be traded in Miami and Cleveland ? Wiggins ? It was the right move, the guy is seriously overated...

Oh and by the way the Payton/Malone signing was great, it was a shame Malone was injured or we'd have destroyed the Pistons (well maybe not destroyed but we were trashing teams before his injury). And you can't compare Nash to LeBron James, they are just not on the same level...
