Quincy Jones is the proverbial sh--. He can say whatever he wants. As a producer and arranger no one could touch him, and his record sales speak for themselves. Disagree with him with his take on the Beatles, but he's a superior musical mind so maybe he hears them differently than I do.

Quincy's a heavy dude. His life is magical. Places he's gone, people he's met. His Marlon Brando revelation had me cracking up "A Mail Box"
I heard he didn't want his daughter to date Black men. That's a rumor. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.
Amusing anecdote on Quincy/EVH collabo on Beat It. Jones corroborated the call snafu in another interview.
Song:
EVH was so high in that clip.
Haha. Yeah, you could see his eyes were pink and glassy even in a 1985 video. Back when rock stars knew how to party. He did coke back then, he once admitted. I dunno if he had some of that or just pot and Heinekin (a light day), but I've seen him on TV long enough to know he didn't start cracking jokes and acting ebullient in interviews until he was lit. He always said he hated on tape interviews especially when they started kissing his ass and calling him a virtuoso, etc, which invariably happened. The paraplegic joke was funny. He was quick back then.
These interviews are (bleep) fantastic. The dude is a true musical genius and he keeps it 100% real raw and uncut. The life he's had is truly incredible. There needs to be a movie about his life soon.
