If IT returns to his 2016 form in the next few games just as Lonzo is coming back from injury.

Yeah, but remember who's KCP's agent is so have to be nice to him. Plus we really need IT for the 6th man role for the time being.

Brandon Ingram - we have our best winning % with him running the point

okay, seriously now:
1. We start the guy that we have a 3-4 year investment window with, not the guy that's a 2 month rental.
2. We start the guy that fits in with the teams Defensive priorities, not the guy that is basically a turnstile
3. We start the guy that's looking to move the ball, not get his own points at the expense of the team. Yes, I know IT did pretty well at this - in the first half. As the game went on, it became more and more the IT show.

In case that wasn't clear enough, you start Lonzo, once he's fully ready to go. (and until then, we probably should keep starting BI/Hart/KCP)

IT is looking like a considerably better ball handling and decision making version of JC while providing slightly worse defense, and should (mostly) come off the bench.
