Practiced somewhat yesterday and had contact, halfcourt defensive stuff etc etc

Still though, he's progressed but they will continue to play it safe, he won't be playing in any of the 2 next games.

What did Lonzo say?

"I'll play for anybody."

Dude is always going to side with his dad.

I was a big fan now I want to trade his ass.

Well if some idiots are ready to pay 200$ to have Lonzo' signature on their shirt, I don't see why they wouldn't take advantage of it...

Or missed 1 month in his rookie year with a mysterious knee injury.

So many distractions. Young man needs to focus on his craft and put some distance between himself and his Dad's over the top hype and self promotion.

Part of the problem is the tacit approval given by the organization by their own over-hype of the "franchise player" press conference and not shutting down some of the outside distractions. Organization allows the message to be sent that the same rules/scrutiny do not apply to Ball as other players. Hard to complain about it now.

Young man needs to take a lesson from those players that came before him instead of Lavar. You're a damn rookie. Get better physically and prepare yourself mentally for the task at hand. Being a professional basketball player.

I’m becoming open to dealing Deng and Lonzo for an all star. Too bad Deng and Lonzo wasn’t considered for Kyrie in the off season

Yea! Or if DLOs dad was a distraction.
I wonder why Lonzo gets a pass that the Dark Net never got.

Too soon, man. We gotta see who he becomes. He's already a force defensively and can still grow offensively.

I won't comment on the off court stuff except to say I do expect that he is still putting in the time in the weight room and doing whatever he can to improve his strength despite the injury keeping him off the court this past month. He really needs a Kobe-like mentality when it comes to improving his shot and putting on weight/strength to endure an NBA season. Whether or not he has that type of time and work ethic to improve and also the time to drop/promote rap albums, appear in reality shows, etc is up to him..

As the pg and team leader I believe he needs to tell his Father to butt out but again that is his decision.

Are you guys saying we should be harsher on Lonzo?
Or are you saying we should turn back time and not have been as harsh to DLO?

Can't we just be glad that DLO is Brooklyn's now. By the way, who's played in more games this year? And who do you think will play in more games by the end of the year?

Ball has a higher potential than Dlo so ge gets a longer leash.

Lonzo says he feels good enough to play but they’re going to wait until after Rising Stars, which he won’t play in. Target is first game back from the break vs Dallas.

Who finishes the season with a higher TS%?

Who bangs the most IG models between now and June?

Who gets more passive aggressive comments from PaycosoLoco about fancy schmancy numbers versus his eye test?

TS: DLO: .499, Lonzo: .436. Lonzo is actually shooting a better 3 ball than DLO, which surprised me. Lonzo's FT% is bad. Hmmm... I say... it'll be close at the end if Lonzo follows his shooting trend pre-injury. But I say DLO at the end.

Inspector Gadget models: I'd give it to DLO.

PA from PL: I say BVH.

The Dark Net is the only guy we've selected with a high draft pick that wasn't the board's consensus pick where he was taken. Most people wanted Okafor. You see how adkindo posts about Lonzo? Multiply that by a lot more people who didn't want him and there you go.

He would've made the Rising Stars game fun to watch. Oh well, still got Kuz and Ingram.

First let me say that I love Lonzo as our PG. A guy that quickly changed the pace and passing of our team. However, papa Ball maybe a BIGGER problem come next year. While I believe he is going to be a star, I am a Lakers fan first and he may ultimately not be worth the headache and I don’t think we can wait for him to start being his own man. He is part of the Lakers organization and while we like his “let my play do the talking” attitude, he has not once backed up the organization from what his dad has said. Maybe it’s his age, maybe he sucks at conveying what he really wants, maybe his dad is actually speaking what Lonzo actually feels.

With that said, I am all for trading Lonzo, a potential “transcendent Star” for a big time All-Star. We have seen B.I. At point guard and folks, it has been working. 6’9” PG that does everything better than Lonzo at this point, minus the wow passing. His passing may not ever rival Lonzo’s but he has learned to make the right play with simple passes that have gotten his teammates involved, consistent all around stats, and most importantly WINS!

We all know B.I. needs to gain weight, but as the main ball handler at pG he will be able to work towards his full body potential at his own pace and stilll be more of a mismatch on the floor than Lonzo.. We have seen a small but worthy sample size and with all of this crap with Lonzo, I have been changing my tune.

BBB can and I believe will be very toxic in the locker room and the only person that can change that is Lonzo. Will FA and players want to line up for that drama? Yes we get attention, positive and negative from having Lonzo but all in all, will it be worth it? Man up Lonzo! Dude is that frustrating. Even more so than D-LO’s child acts. While all the kids are having fun now, that can change really quick. A few wrong words and it will be disastrous to the team.

Yea, you're a mystery.
I'm not sure if you have a low key hate for him or not.
Or perhaps, being JC's cousin, there's some animosity due to lack of minutes for JC early on? (JK )
But you sure seem reluctant to give Lonzo props. And to those that see the "goods" that Lonzo brings, it can come off as hate.
