Wonder if the Lakers take a flier on Okafor in Free Agency.
U being serious? Why? And what we gonna do with Zubac and T.Bryant (is Okafor better?)?
I'm not saying they should, it just wouldn't surprise me if Magic wanted to give him a look as the 3rd Center on a 1-year deal. I'd be surprised if Zubac is back and I think Bryant's our backup 5 next year. Although everything depends on the max free agents, of course.
I don't think Oak is getting even a guaranteed minimum deal. Will be a make-good contract. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Nets are better off without Oak. No place for a ball stopper big who plays no defense in any era. Even as a bench scoring option, offense needs to run through him for him to score. No rebounding or energy to give second chance points. _________________ Showtime 2.0
he got a quick 10 and 3 in his first shift and okafor is out tonight
I'm telling you, this (bleep) is not a coincidence.
26.4 pts (57.5% TS%), 8 assists (5.3 TO) per 36 min since returning from injury without Okafor. 157 minutes -- not a huge sample size but not insignificant.

Russell on our squad (if healthy) is a low end playoff team next year. I feel that 100%. _________________ KOBE

He's clearly found his way to how he gets to his spots and exploits them, and he's doing that without a consistent three ball. Lots of turnovers still (he's forcing a lot of clever stuff he has to lay off of because he's able to make jaw dropping reads and passes, and hasn't developed the judgement and discipline to know the difference, seems he's playing by feel there). _________________ “We must always take sides. The Nets without Levert and RHJ have been awful, and they keep losing to teams close to us in the Western Conference playoff and overall league standings. Makes me sick to see everything clicking into place for the Cavs all of a sudden...
DNP for Okafor even though they played one C. Seems like Nets won't re-sign him in the summer. Funny SAS was talking about Towns being in Bleacher's top 10 and bought up the fact that how he thought Okafor was equally good with his post scoring and that Philly ruined him. Hard to admit you totally overrated him thinking he could be Towns level like many fans who were pissed during his rookie year for not drafting him, I guess. _________________ Showtime 2.0
It’s pretty hard not to be impressed with the teams drastic turnaround since DLo’s return, 3-12, losing 8 straight and 12 out of 13. I’d take Hart or Kuzma and straight up, but we also dumped Mozgov who’s played 13 minutes since New Years. About time for some to admit the brilliance of that trade.
