Anybody else think he kinda shoots it like Larry Bird? 🕊

His jumpshot coming out of the draft was compared to Dirk, who's shot is similar to Bird as well. Last year and the start of the season BI's shot looked like more of a flat set shot, but it's much smoother and better now. Giannis, Kawhi, and now compared to Bird, yea BI is gonna be really, really good in the future.

Tayshaun Prince was one of his main comparisons of people who were low on Ingram. Last season, thought that his floor and one comparison of Ingram was to Nicolas Batum. But, he is already averaging 16 ppg, which is already more than Prince & Batum ever averaged at only age 20. Everything is lining up towards the Kawhi/Giannis trajectory in his career. Now we know why he is Mr. Untouchable after all.

Tayshaun Prince was a great player. That chase down block of Reggie Miller in the ECF won them the championship. The Pacers weren't going to beat the Lakers that year.

But yeah. BI should be a much more accomplished player when it's all said and done. Hopefully.

I think he's more Kawai than Giannis. I don't think BI has that athletic ability like Giannis (though Kawai isn't a slouch either).

Ingram is a future multi-time DPOY award winner?

No. I'm just saying b/w Kawai/Giannis he's more the former.

Who knows? Perhaps they both join BI in 19' & 20'?

The Spurs will trade Kawhi this summer for picks and a current player that fits their system. There’s a good chance he makes it to a contender to begin next year... bold guess, Wizards. If that team gets silly quickly, we risk the same PG situation this year.

Klay might stay in the yay; even take a haircut on the deal. You don’t leave a potential dynasty. It would take PG taking us to the WCF and destroying the SuperDubs ourselves, next year mind you... to pry Klay away, and even then it’s not a given.

So what do we do?

Well, we roll with our team of course. Pay JR the day after the final game of the season. Evaluate IT. Lock BI and Mamba in a gym, the entire summer, and let an able bodied Kobe help the young man archive all of it. Have Kuz, Big Mamba, Zu, and Hitman run Bulldog Road all summer long when they’re not on defensive drills... all of it, like a Rocky montage. Zo can come along, if his dad lets him.

As a fan in the present, I hope Cleavland dominates Giannis out of the east right into our arms. Look on with pride of the guys we gave Cleaveland with no envy. Nance and JC are vets in this league now. They deserve a shot. And the fact that they could be making Giannis that much more hungry, makes me smile. The whole thing is a no lose. We have a shot at all of the guys we want coming home...

PG, KLAY, KAWHI... all in the next two years for a #showtimehomecoming. And guess what... we are the best suited to get these all stars together. If IT (Inglewood always up to no good... I see u IT) wants to kick a spot, MLE, baby.

With a little vision, it can be spoken into existence.

Amazing! If he can finish out the year shooting 40% from 3 that would be killer. His shot does look effortless now, it just goes in!

I'm hoping he doesn't defer too much to IT. Future of the team in part belongs to him and not IT.

IT hogging the rock isn't working together. The point is BI shouldn't just drop the ball to IT everytime. He's been orchestrating the offense a bit while Lonzo has been out.

Loving the way he's played these past dozen or so games. His confidence takingt he 3 ball is fantastic. Dude is no longer hesitating on open 3s and it's elevated all other parts of his game giving him more space to work and better rhythm.

And missing the passes on the pick and rolls.

Not the "Ingram" we need tonight.

It'd be even better if him and his teammates decided to provide some defensive resistance tonight.

Looks like a different player attacking when he's healthy. Two layups over AD, and a blow by hammer

I'm trying to understand what was going on in his head when he was swiping and reaching on AD to pick up his third foul.. It's like he doesn't have a brain at times.. I guess it's a part of being a young player.

That stuff doesn't bother me for exactly that reason. I don't expect a 20-year old to be poised and thinking big picture.

A lot of young players are overly dependent on some offensive success energizing their defense.. like from play to play. Ingram has a couple layups on AD and then is amped to defend him. Reminds me of Bynum dunking on Shaq and then forarming him and endangering his own livelihood

I had to turn it off after the 1st quarter. Day was too stressful otherwise. He missed a lot of those 10-12 footers... you'd think they would discourage shooting so many of those.

On the bright side, if this is a poorer game, that is a big improvement from earlier this year. If he keeps improving at this rate, he is going to be a great offensive player. Hope the defense improves too.

he was also sloppy with the turnovers tonight. It definitely wasn't one of his best games, but at least he scored the ball relatively efficiently. I want to see more than 1 three point attempt as well.
