Silly. Yeah, let's further exhaust the 8th seed prior to our ritualistic offering of them to the 1st seed. Don't need a play in, need less teams going to the playoffs. When more than half of your league makes it into the postseason, it's just not that special of an accomplishment. Restrict it to the top 6 teams in each conference. If they really want to get weird with it, go all european on this (bleep) and wait until the G league is more developed, and then relegate the worst team in each conference to the G league, while promoting the top team in each conference to the NBA. |

I'll cheer for him during the regular season and part of the playoffs. If we get to the Finals, heck, WHEN we get to the Finals, I'll cheer for him to have massive diarrhea that he can't play and PG/Ball lead us to a title. |

My friend was at an event where they had a silent auction tonight. One of the items up for bids was an NBA basketball, in a nice case, that was signed by all of the members of the current 2017-18 LA Clippers. When the auction was over, my friend texted and said he was shocked that the ball only went for $90, reasoning that the ball itself would retail for $40 and that the case itself was probably worth $30. I had a very simple reply for him.
It's the Clippers.
