May be a bad theory, but I think that Zu plays a lot better when he has more of a shot creator next to him (re: DLo/IT) |

Big guys usually play better when paired with a good passer. _________________ .

Another positive ramification of the trade may be the reintegration of Zu. He had a nice run for a small stretch last year. If he gets enough playing time, it would not surprise me to see him average double figures the rest of the way. Hopefully he has worked on his rebounding and shot blocking. |

We need to know what we have in Zubac going into next year. Who’s is going to play center next year? Randle is more of a change of pace small ball center. We need to see if Zubac can give us 25 minutes a game next year and be a rim protector.
He sure looked a lot stronger in the last game. Only way I see Lopez back next year is if we strikeout in FA or perhaps if we only sign 1 FA. We better know if Zubac can do the job or not next year. Gotta start playing him ASAP. |

Zu looked liked himself in the last game. He was playing like he did at the end of the last season.
Guy has soft hands and long arms. He has a real knack for scoring around the basket. All of that work on the D league looks like it has helped his stamina. Hopefully Lopez will not be back and Zu will get the starting job! _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

I also think this is a great time to give Zubac some run, and get an accurate assessment of his man defense, how he defends the P&R, and rim protection before making any decisions regarding Lopez, dumping salaries, or picking up FA centers this summer. |

I'm liking Zubac actually getting playing time and actually producing. It is nice to see. Hopefully he continues to improve and sees more minutes for it. |

I like the fact that we have 2 legit big men in Brook Lopez and Zubac. Hopefully Zubac can start knocking down some 3s like BroLo |

In the last 2 games Zu is at 16.5PPG & 8.5 boards per game on 14 for 15 FG's in just 19 minutes per game.... |

Zu has been playing pretty good the last few games. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Sad to see Nance go, but it was the only way Zu was going to see playing time. Good to see Zu playing like he has been in the the rotation all year.
Like to continue to see Zu and IT play together. Going to see some nice pick and roll action from that combo. |

Smart kid. He catches the ball high and in one quick motion he puts it up. Can’t defend that. |

Nice to have another REAL center who can put up scoring and rebound numbers in such a prolific manner. Young, stuff to learn, but man I'm glad Luke gave him another 18 minutes tonight. Keel it up Zu!! |

Geez.. I'm still bitter. What the hell was Luke doing with Bogut when this guy should have been developed. He should be even further along right now. |

Forgot about Bogut. His signing made no sense. Don't know what Luke/FO was thinking. |

Iirc Zubac got mins earlier in the season and looked like straight garbage, not even G league worthy. He looks highly improved since then, but I’m not expecting much out of him. |
