When Lonzo gets his minute restriction taken away, in a close game who on in the floor? I think its:

PG - IT
SG - Ball
SF - Ingram
PF - Kuzma
C - Randle

I think Kuzma is a flex spot to Hart and then KCP.

You didn’t bench Hart for the midget...

I think it's the right choice against a lot of match ups. Thomas gives you a guy who can create his own shot and hit his free throws. Unless he's costing the team defensively that is likely the best lineup. If they start picking on Thomas go with Hart. However, Hart has been sketchy on his free throws in late game situations (3-9). You have to have someone who can knock them down.

Hart seemed to knock down 2 big freethrows last night effortlessly... To me his defense, rebounding and intangibles is more valuable than a 5’8” defensive liability late in games. As far as freethrow shooting goes, might as well force these young kids to learn to make them when it counts. Keeping the ball away from them in these moments isn’t helping their future. Ingram has been pretty solid all season with knocking down freethrows in crunch time..

Whoever's playing good in the game. No reason to make it static

Ingram, Randle with any 2 or 3 of KCP, Ball, Hart, IT. Kuzma can’t play good and consistent defense yet

Whoever is playing good O (or D if its needed). We don't have a scripted closing lineup. This is one one Luke's biggest strengths. He is not afraid to piss someone off by sitting them.

A lead to protect and against a big front court with scorers:

PG - Ball
SG - Hart
SF - Ingram
PF - Randle
C - Lopez

A lead to protect and against a strong backcourt:

PG - Ball
SG - KCP or Hart
SF - Ingram
PF - Kuzma
C - Randle

Need to score a bunch to catch up, to hell with defense:

PG - Ball
SG - Thomas
SF - Ingram
PF - Kuzma
C - Randle

Considering KCP was the main reason we came back to win against the Kings, I think he should be included in the lineup. I'd like to see how a Hart/KCP combo would work out. I really don't like IT and Lonzo should just take it slow with limited minutes off the bench.

Last night it was a tough choice between Hart and IT I'm. Hart was playing smarter ball, but the Kings we're pressing wildly even to the point that Fox was really giving IT fits who is probably the best ball handler on the team.

I'd normally not say IT, but, I think he's going to be needed for his veteran presence, ability to create his own shot, and FT shooting.

Thoughts on....

IT
Ball
Hart
Ingram
Randle

Who are the constants then? Lonzo, Ingram, and Randle?

Then we flex any 2 of Kuzma, Hart, KCP, IT, and maybe in rare instances Brook

As long as the other team is going small or doesn't have a big "3" that can hurt you, that's a solid lineup.

Yes.

IT and Kuz are too much of a disaster defensively unless they can make up for it with white hot shooting.

The is NO set list for the closing line-up, it all depends on two things that Luke decides on in the moment:

1) How the players are playing
2) Match-ups
